Thoughts on Season Six; Saint Francis and the Primal Slayer

I had a thought regarding the Primal Slayer vision from 'Tough Love'.

What was it that the Primal Slayer told Buffy to do in her vision? "Love,
give, forgive." Those words came to mind again during the season six finale,
when Willow cried in Xander's arms, and the soundtrack played Sarah
McLachlan's "Prayer of St. Francis".

"Oh Divine Master, grant that I may seek
not so much to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
In pardoning that we are pardoning.
And in dying that we are born to eternal life."

To love. In giving. In pardoning.

Love, give, forgive.
