A Challenge (secondhand)

Okay, I'm taking a peek through the "shooting script" thread on the
Kitten Board (there's an alternate ending to "Where the Wild Things Are"
from an early draft there, that isn't posted on Psyche), and I'm reading
their comments on the Season 6 scripts as they come out.

So we get to "Normal Again", and of course even if you're a W/T
'shipper, you can't help but notice the famous "I could wrestle naked in
grease every day and still be cleaner than after a shift at the
Doublemeat"/"Plus I'd visit you at work every single day" exchange that
was cut between Buffy and Willow. And notice they did, making friendly
remarks about how happy this must have made us, etc.

In fact, Xita, one of the moderators, posted: "I can just hear the
fanfics being written as we speak."

Well, we did love the line. And we did write fanfics. But not the one
Xita and the Kittens were expecting.

Now, come on people, this is the fandom that wrote at least **NINE**
"Beer Bad" followups I can think of! We've got all the elements right
here:

Buffy takes up nude wrestling (in oil, mud, what have you). Willow
visits her at work. A lot.
