Snippet (Summers' end)
An experimental scene for the revision of Summers' End
mainly to prove that at least the ideas really do
exist
It would fit in after the events in the original
version of summers end

Disclaimers: to my horror my legal team assures me
that I don't own these characters
B/W (/T?)
They had both spent long hours with Joyce and the
others planning this moment, and now it had come they
stood on the threshold, waiting.
Buffy and Willow stood side by side under the tree,
holding hands.
The stood there for an hour watching the sun go down,
barely moving as the fragrant spring breeze sprinkled
their hair with petals from the branches above.
The guests stood a little way off, watching; waiting.
As the stars came out Buffy turned uncertainly to the
woman who had shared most of her life
"Are you sure?"
Green eyes met blue for a moment, passing a lifetime
of love
"Yes"
Joyce moved, brushing a tear from her eye. The
movement seemed to galvanise the couple. With a final
smile to her mother, Buffy turned and with Willow
crossed the threshold.
Joyce turned to her silent companion
"You know, it almost seemed-"
"I saw it too"
For a moment, as their shadows faded out against the
stars, they had been joined by another, lost so many
years ago.

Does it suck?
To avoid confusion, or at least address it
retrospectively, this would be set somwhere arond
2090-2100, Buffy, Willow and Joyce, as immortals
[demon, demon, vampire], are the only remaining

170 words looks so short, doesn't it?
When I'm writing I'm like the kid in the car "are we
there yet?" .... I know I should take 20,000 words to
meet the inspiration when my motivation runs to 2000,
it's a pain.

(170 words looks even smaller now that I've spent
another 20 minutes proof reading, annotating, and
formatting it; how is that even possible? I type at 30wpm)
