>>>Actually i did like the
ep...It lived up to my expectations....AS a whole it was up to the season
level...Of course, there were two things i hated...Buffy thinking Spike was
sent away because of an intervantion...And him being the one who wasn`t
involved in the trowing out...I think it pretty much defined how things are
going to play out...It`s a lot similar to the back from the dead
spell...That`s what bugs me, to make Buffy`s relationship with Spike seem
valid and real Joss decided to make her interaction with the others,
mainly Xander, Giles and Willow , seem meaningless...I guess i shouldn`t be
surprised, this has being happening since the Buffy loves SPike fest
began, and it`s one of the main reasons why i`m against it, but still, not a
surprise...Now all we have to do is sit back and Wait for the Spuffy
epic to unfold....
Still, these eps had some of the best moments of the season so
far...First...The hospital scene...Alyson HAnnigan was amazing, so was
Nicholas, and to me that was one of the most touching scenes of the show so
far...It`s amazing to see that moemnt , that connection, especially when you
remember howmuch each changed... ANd AH holding her tears...it was such an
effort...
Another thing was the "intervention"...I know Buffy is supposed to be
the slayer and the hero in the show, but during teh argument i could really
see the others point....During this season she only seems to trust SPike,
seeminly forgeting the people who were there with her all the way, and now she
wants their trust? I know that in the scene Buffy was supposed to be the
victim, we`re supposed to feel sorry for her and to think of the others as
"villains", but that didn't happen, at least where i was concerned....Anyone
who has been watching the season and even the past know taht what was said was
true, and Buffy needed to hear that....MAybe it`wasn`t the best time, butit`s
not like they could do it later...My only fear is that the damage done
is irrepairable, at least to the scoobies, after all, had only been the sit,
Dawn and ANya speaking it would be something, but the impact came with Giles
adn Mostly Willow and Xander....
Now to the shipper part...Yeah, there was a shipper part, but not
really in what was seem, but in what was implied...WHen Willow told Kennedy to
stop and she asked why WIllow always seemed to stand up for Buffy...To meit
seemed that that had happened a lot before and that the answer seems to be a
lot more complex than the best friends thing...To me it always seemed like all
the most important developments in Will`s character were somehow influenced by
Buffy or their relationship and if felt like that could be pretty much what
the argument was about....It`s always about a girl....It`s always
about Buffy
Oh, and there was the eye contact...I don`t know who noticed , but
most of the time, especially toward the end , Buffy kept looking in WIllow`s
direction...It was almost as if she wasn`t believeing that it was coming from
her too...And most of the time WIllow had her head down....
You know, i almost wish the period between this ep and the next were
bigger, because this particular eps left so many loose ends, so many fic
possibilities, i would really like to see them explored before the next one
came....POV, what if, after the credits rolls....
Well, i babbled , i know...Sorry for the many mistakes....
And keep on watching...
I`m off to bed...Nd in my dreams, WIll is so going after Buffy
:)
