RE: Willow's Middle Name?

Granted, there is nothing that explicitly states that her name is NOT Elizabeth, but nothing that says that it IS either. Remember in Something Blue the whole argument over invitations? Buffy just said her mother gave her the name, she never said rather it was meant as a full name or a nickname. But I think in any school records, be them high school or UCS we’ve seen, she’s listed as Buffy. In all PSU records I am listed as Thomas, but my friends and professors all know to call me Tom. And also I would think any of the council members would refer to her as Elizabeth and not Buffy. But why bicker over a name? One of the other things I remember from ninth grade, other than what has come to be my life motto is something about “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” The point? You want to call her Buffy, call her Buffy. You like Elizabeth, call her Elizabeth. Call her Queen Shabubu if you can feasibly sell it. And with that, I drop the subject and go take a stone saw to that pesky writer’s block that’s been bothering me. A good one with a twin cylinder Wisconsin, a transmission, and a hydraulic lift. Don’t ask.
