Poem: The Day We Met

Spoilers: None but it does make a reference to a scene in WELCOME TO 
THE HELLMOUTH.

Note: Sorry if this poem is a little bad. I was doing my homework (I 
hate flowcharts.) and got a little bored so I wrote this.

THE DAY THAT WE MET

Its funny in a way 
The way things go
I was happy in my life
And then you showed
I wasn't looking for you
You weren't looking for me
And then you sat down
And somehow set me free.

The day we met
You changed my world
You smiled at me
And my head began to whirl
It wasn't love
But it was a start
The day we met
You began to steal my heart.

Life is weird
To say the least
You are my hero
When you slay the savage beast
But when you are just my friend
That's when I know
My love for you 
Has no end.

The day we met
You changed my life
Just my being kind
Just by being nice
I knew the world
Held something for me
By meeting you 
I found my destiny.

I know it sounds lame
But some day I hope
When I tell you the truth
That you don't bolt
But most off all
I hope you never regret.
Sitting down next to me
The day we met.
