Is it me, or has the temperature gone up a few degrees around here recently?
Sheesh, starting to feel like the SapphicSlayer list. Anyway, the evil that is
Bad Buffy is roughly equivalent to Vorlon spoo (B5 ref, sorry guys) - it's ugly,
it thinks, and theoretically you can partake of it, but do really want to try to
digest something that might just give you heartburn later?

I'm going with Erin on this one, folks. The more attention you pay to these
guys, the happier they become. You have to treat it like a KKK parade in your
home town: stay home, turn on some loud music, and just ignore them. Feel free
to sign the petition: within 24 hours, they'll be at a new URL, possibly with
sponsors. Anyone that can generate that kind of interest (good or bad) is going
to look profitable to certain groups.

Look, a few months back, I got flamed for a comment on SapphicSlayer. I
listened to what everyone had to say, spoke my peace, and signed off the list.
Same situation here, folks. Who cares what they have to say? Is it being
published in the Buffy magazine? Nope. Does it appear on the show? Haven't
seen it. So they think some of the fics aren't worth reading. Anyone ever hear
of the Red Badge of Courage? Classic American novel, usually required reading
in high school. Most boring piece of shit I ever read - couldn't get past the
first chapter. Yet there are authors and literary critics who would have me
burned at the stake.

Difference of opinion. Smile, nod, say "That's nice," and walk away. We have
enough conflicts these days over trivial matters without adding another one.
