Midnight Snack

Willow was asleep, in a black vast infinity of warmth and senselessness, when she became vaguely aware of something. The something seemed to have components of movement, and sound . and perhaps scent.

Lazily she rearranged herself, and then, as more neurons came on-line in her brain, she began to process the something.

The sound was semi-liquid, the movement rhythmical, and the scent . Buffy.

She pulled herself from sleep and onto her elbow, and, from where she lay on the bed behind her Slayer, snuggled up, spooned in, she saw that Buffy, fast asleep, was languidly pleasuring herself, her fingers softly busy amid her blonde curls.

That ought to be my job, Willow thought: But, then, I was asleep.

She scooched up and reached round and gently added her fingers to the mix. Once she joined in, she noticed that Buffy's hand drifted away, upwards, to start to toy with a nipple. Buffy's other hand was outstretched, also moving, but with far less force, as though engaged in some other activity.

Willow smiled, and, even as she made sure Buffy stayed not too far from theboil (but didn't get too close to it), she rummaged through her mind for aspell she'd been meaning to try. Admittedly she had meant to do it when Buffy was awake enough to know about it, but she hadn't been too sure how Buffy would take to the idea.

The cat, Rachel (the Simonsen's cat, a fluffy thing with a reputation as a secret mouser when the moon was high), hadn't exactly objected, but neitherhad it offered unequivocal support when she had tried with it. But the results then had been good enough to satisfy Willow that what she had read she had understood, and that the spell worked as the grimoire (found at the back of Giles' private collection) had implied that it ought to.

Moving gently, she managed to manoeuvre Buffy onto her back, and then she formed the spell in her mind and, briefly getting both hands back (licking the one clean, just in case, and because the flavour was wonderfully nice), she made the necessary passes and pressed her fingers onto Buffy's forehead.

The Slayer was still fast asleep, but Willow could sense the opening of thelink between their minds.

Then she leant forward and slipped her fingers back through Buffy's curls.

At once she knew that the spell was working: she felt the phantom sensationflicker through her own body.

With Rachel the link had strengthened as time had gone on (till Willow had severed the link lest she take on too much of the cat's personality): she wondered just how it would work with a human mind. It was a case of dealingwith something far more alike and familiar than an animal, but at the sametime, far stronger and more focussed.

She gently caressed Buffy's lovely flesh, and felt the soft sensations echothrough her own mind as well. Her nipples tingled, more so as Buffy continued on and off to play with her own

Buffy moaned gently, and it occurred to Willow that perhaps what she felt from Buffy would be echoed back via her own mind into the Slayer again. Well, only through experimentation did science and knowledge progress.

She leaned closer and added her tongue to the equation. There was no doubt: she was getting Buffy's sensations fed through. There was also no doubt that her body was responding just as if she were the real subject of her own attentions.

Eager to garner more data, she moved round and crouched so as to get the maximum focus on what she was doing, while with her other hand she reached down to try to assuage some of the pangs she was feeling.

Then the Slayer reached out, still asleep, and found Willow's hand and followed it, sure-fingeredly. Which made sense: if Buffy was also getting Willow's sensations, then she would know where to . go.

Willow gasped as Buffy put two fingers right at the heart of her need. Shebent and lapped, trying to concentrate on giving pleasure: Buffy pulled her lower half across and down and began to reciprocate.

The cycle of sensations began to spiral upward: what Willow did to and for Buffy, she felt herself, and it spurred her on to more, knowing just where felt best. But Buffy was doing likewise - and doing it very well.

It was impossible to tell which of them came first, but even as the crescendo was cresting in one body, the other was still being stimulated, and theyfound that they could enjoy the one whilst still fuelling the other.

The second climax swept over them, but their linked minds pressed on - the Slayer had superb recuperative powers anyway, and Willow was too swept up in her experiment to think of stopping merely because she had got one result, or two.

Now both of them were using fingers, tongues, lips and teeth (gently), to express love for their beloved, and every iota of good vibration was being passed through both their minds, spurring them on to even greater heights ofexcellence.

And when they finally slackened pace, twisted, turned, lay together, kissing and caressing, as their bodies tiptoed slightly away from mental union, and physical nirvana - when Buffy re-entered clear consciousness, and Willowbegan to loose the ties between them, there was nothing they needed to say. Both of them understood, now, what it was like to love and to be loved all at once.

Full explanations could come later - for now, there was laying together, warm, slightly sticky, and very well-loved.
