OT: Sad news...

Sorry for the OT post...(it's all I seem to do these days <sigh>)

I don't know how many of you are fans of the X-Files or X-Files FanFiction, 
but if you are, Sheryl Martin just sent this to another list I'm on.

If you are into x-files fan fiction and haven't read her stories then track 
them down and read them. The growth I saw in her as both an author and 
person over the years I've known her has been incredible.

I just heard that last night Leyla Harrison passed away from melanoma
cancer.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions in her name
be given to:
Norris Cotton Cancer Center
One Medical Center Drive
Lebanon, NH 03756

What a terrible tragedy. It always crushes me to hear that someone lost
the Battle - and this case is even sadder. She gave so much hope to
others who shared the same fate - I was really hoping she'd be the one
who got away.
My most heartfelt condolences and deepest prayers go out to her family
and all those to whom she gave hope.
