Leaving Tomorrow

Buffy had left them in the dungeon chained up and tied to each other while
she did a quick patrol. Kate was on her knees chained over the punishment
bench. Duncan lay on top of the bench. Kate's face was bearded in Duncans'
pussy. Buffy had ordered Duncan to give Kate instructions on eating pussy,
something that Duncan was good at. Willow and Tara were upstairs talking and
checked on the two slaves every few minutes. 

Kate was thrusting her tongue deep inside Duncan then bringing her tongue up

bar again. So Duncan was bored and moping in her room. It seemed to piss
Buffy off a lot when Duncan sulked or moped around the house. 

So Buffy dragged Duncan to the Dungeon and left her getting her pussy licked
by Kate. She should have been bored still. And part of her was still bored
only Kate was really getting into her pussy. And she was a Reinfield so she

putting it back in the ocean. Willow and Tara's magic was like smaller
whales or dolphins. She wanted to just swat away the magic and be done with
it. But her body reacted on its own. And as Kate's jaws grew tired the throb
between her legs ached. 

If she could just release the magic, get rid of the pain, instead of storing
it for Buffy. But somehow what Kate was doing felt different; she could feel
herself on the edge of coming. Normally a painful place when Buffy or one of
her wives didn't let her come. But this time it really felt different. 

"I think I am going to cum." Duncan said out of the blue completely
seriously. Kate not understanding that Duncan was alarmed, she doubled her
efforts, flicking her tongue as fast as she could over the Reinfields' clit.
Duncan began to pull against the chains trying to pull away from Kate; she

"No! NO!!" Duncan screamed completely panicking. She was in orgasm but the

Glands meant to only release on command were being forced open and

Kate was flipped back and would have been thrown across the room if she
weren't chained down as well. Duncan's body was rebelling, it no longer
wished to be bound. It was breaking her bonds using Kate's small amount of
magic as its power source. 

"No" Duncan continued to scream frightened and unsure what was happening to
her. Tara and Willow were downstairs unchaining the woman. 

"What happened?" Willow asked as she pulled Kate to her feet.

"I don't know, we were doing what Buffy told us to do and then she said she
was going to cum. And then she started screaming." Kate explained carefully
by Duncan's side.

Tara had unchained Duncan and the little demon rolled on to the floor into a
little ball crying. "Kate did you say Duncan said she was going to cum?" The
witch said carefully.

"Yeah just before she started screaming." Kate said brushing the tears away
from her own eyes. She had received a good blast of magic without knowing
it. 

"Willow, honey, stay with Duncan I need to clear the magic out of Kate."
Tara said as a blanket appeared out of nowhere and wrapped around Duncan. 

Tara carefully led the naked Kate out of the room into her bedroom in the
basement. She pulled back the covers and laid Kate down. Once Kate was in
her bed Tara cast a spell that put Kate to sleep. She cleared the build up
backlash of magic and then let Kate cum in her sleep clearing her of sexual
and negative energy. Kate would have a good sleep. 

Returning to the dungeon she was pleased to find that Willow had moved
Duncan to the bed and covered her up completely. 

"What just happened?" Willow demanded.

"Duncan came." Tara said kissing her wife. 

"So, what just happened?" Willow asked still confused.

"I want to know too!" Buffy said running in the back entrance to the
dungeon. "I felt something it was like a rubber band snapped." The slayer
replied. 

"Duncan came." Tara repeated hoping they would figure it out. 

"I didn't give her permission, did you?" Buffy replied quickly. Duncan was
being punished she wasn't going to let Duncan cum until later that night. 

"No one let her come Buffy that is the point." Tara said completely
frustrated. She loved Buffy and Willow with all her heart but they could be
so dense sometimes. How they had missed the signs. This had been building
for weeks.

"Duncan can't come without permission." Buffy said staring at Tara like she
lost her mind. 

"And yet Duncan clearly came." Tara said patiently. 

"How?" Willow asked staring at the crying girl still rolled in a ball on the
bed. 

"Duncan what happened?" Buffy said sitting down next to Duncan and pulling
her into her lap.

"I came." Duncan replied and then added, "It hurt like hell."

"It's not suppose to hurt when you come." Buffy replied back looking at her
two wives. 

"It hurts." Duncan cried and rolled back into a ball but kept her head in
Buffy's lap. 

"Why?" Willow asked looking a Tara.

"I don't know why or how, only Duncan does." Tara replied.

"Wanted to get rid of Kates' magic. I didn't want it anymore. Parts of it
felt good but it was hurting a little, and I knew Buffy was going to spend
the rest of the night adding to the pain and I just wanted to get rid of it.
Be free of it. And then I felt myself start to orgasm. But it was different,
it felt different. I can't explain." Duncan said between tears.

"Duncan look at me, this is important. You said you wanted to be rid of it.
Just Kate's magic or...?" Tara couldn't finish the question. 

"All of it. I just wanted to be rid of all of it." Duncan said rolling over
and sitting up. Her tears had just about stopped. 

"Buffy check your bond with her." Tara ordered. Much too soon Tara thought
to herself. She knew sooner or later Duncan would choose this path but it
was much too soon. 

Buffy closed her eyes and checked their bond. She seldom did this, she had
always wished to give Duncan her privacy and independence. Closing her eyes
and forcing her mind she searched for Duncan. Now she knew what she had felt
earlier, what had brought her running back home. Duncan had severed their
bond. 

"We have got to do the ceremony again." Buffy said standing up. She was pale
white. "I didn't think she could do this. I didn't think it was possible."
The slayer added in a hurry. She was close to panicking and no demon had
ever made her panic before. 

"I don't want to be bonded." Duncan said quietly from the bed.

"But you'll die." Buffy replied grabbing Duncan and pulling her into her
arms. 

"I know but I don't want to be a Reinfield anymore. I want to become real
even if I can only be real for a short time." Duncan said starring at Buffy.

"If this is about that football player you want to date, I never said you
couldn't go out, I just said no drinking." Buffy said between tears.

"Buffy she doesn't care about the football player, or the beer, or.... Buffy
she doesn't want to be a slave. That is what this is all about. She wants to
be free." Willow said quietly. 

"But she'll die." Buffy said evenly wiping her tears away.

"Yes but it's her choice." Willow said giving her wife complete resolve
face. 

"I don't accept that." Buffy said standing up and glaring at Willow.

"Then you can chain her up and force her to bond with you again knowing she
doesn't want it. Then you will have to keep her chained to her bed or in the
dungeon. You can never let her run free again, she would only try and break
the bond and run away. In the end you would be forced to whip and beat her
daily. Maybe you would get tired of it and just snap her neck the way Faith
use to kill her Reinfields when she was frustrated." Tara said sitting
beside Duncan. 

"I have to get out of here." Buffy said storming out of the house the same
way she had entered through the greenhouse secret entrance.

Two days later Buffy had still not come home. Tara assured them she was
still alive but Buffy had sent them no word. 

"Duncan she will come to her senses." Joyce said as she hugged the girl.
Joyce was as worried about the Reinfield as the rest of them but she
understood why Duncan had chosen this path. Joyce had watched the girl grow
up. She remembered the days when Duncan could barely speak and ran naked
through Buffy's apartment in the mansion. She was such a sweet girl. Now she
was more of a woman. Still young but very grown up. Buffy had let her taste
life and now she wanted to be allowed to be part of the real world. Joyce
couldn't blame her. 

"Buffy can stay mad a long time." Duncan replied but leaned into the hug.

"Well the longer she continues to act like a idiot, the harder I am going to
whip some sense back into her." Willow said then looked up at Joyce and
blushed.

"I mean I...I... I" She began to stammer looking at the slayers mother.

"Willow you have been married to my daughter for how long? I have an idea
how you keep her in line. That doesn't mean I approve but she is happier and
healthier with you." Joyce said then looking at Tara she added, "You too
dear." 

"I have some work I need to do. May I be excused." The now clothed Kate
asked. Kate still wasn't allowed to wear clothes except when company came
over. Joyce was the reason she was dressed.

"You know your work comes first Kate." Tara said looking directly into
Kate's eyes. Eyes she knew were lying. Kate was probably as upset about
Duncan as Buffy was but she was taking a different path to peace than Buffy.


"Have you taken your medication?" Willow asked.

"Yes mis..." Kate then looked at Joyce and said "Willow." 

Joyce just laughed and smiled and hugged Duncan harder. "My Daughter and her
family." Joyce just muttered before kissing Duncan's forehead.

Buffy sat in the office of her club. Beth's office. She sat in a darkened
room looking out of the two-way mirror at the club. She had been hanging out
in the office when she wasn't slaying. She was just about out of things to
slay in Sunnydale. She had been so upset over Duncan she had been on a wild
two-day hunt of every demon haunt or nest within a hundred miles of
Sunnydale. 

"Interesting view?" The goddess asked.

"I was wondering when you were going to show up?" Buffy said not even
turning her head.

"I really shouldn't have to show up. You know the truth." The voice of Tara
said.

"Why do you still use her body Will? I know who you really are." Buffy said
quickly.

"I thought you might. But Willow and I are not one in the same just yet.
Just like you are not completely immortal yet." Kali answered her. 

"Immortal is a curse, why would I want to be immortal?" Buffy said slowly
still looking out the window.

"You don't 'want' to become immortal, you just 'do'." The goddess answered.

"Why the hell does Duncan want to die... to break away from me?" Buffy said
turning around to face Tara's body. A trail of tears falling down her
cheeks. 

"Perhaps she does not want to be immortal?" Kali answered.

"But she too becomes immortal. She is with us, in the other time. In the
other place." Buffy said bitterly.

"I did not realize you had started seeing into the expanse."

"Non linear time I believe Tara calls it." Buffy said wiping away the tears.

"You are hundreds, maybe even thousands of years away from becoming whole.
Becoming one. The merging you have started with the angel will be very
slow." The goddess explained.

"And Duncan, what is going to happen to Duncan. What is going to happen to
you? How the hell do you become Kali?" Buffy said bitterly. 

"I can't tell you. Buffy all I can tell you is that all you want, all you
ever need, is waiting for you in the kitchen of your house. And in someway
all that you need will be with you in some form for the rest of our lives.
You may have to work at it but it will be there, always. In every cycle you
live. There will be ups and downs but it will be there. I will be there." 

Buffy just grabbed Tara and hugged her tight. She knew the difference and
that she was hugging some form of Willow it didn't matter. Time didn't
matter. She just needed to hold on to her lover, her friend, her sanity. 

After a long while they pulled apart. "I should go talk to Duncan. She is
probably really scared. Will, how long before she...?"

"The active human DNA in her body while give her more time. Actually she has
about 5 or 6 years. Much longer than you might think. It will appear like
leukemia. At least that is what the doctors will tell you. Duncan is going
to use those years. She will die happy and loved. But first she still has
about a year of driving you crazy being a teenager." The goddess said
laughing. 

"Have you met her boyfriend James the football player?" Buffy said with a
smirk. He was almost a dead football player after bringing Duncan home drunk
on their second date.

"Duncan is only dating him for appearance. She wants to be seen as a normal
teenage girl. A football-playing boyfriend makes her seem normal at least in
her mind. She is still struggling with appearance. You of all people should
understand that, or do I have to bring up Scott Hope."

"No thanks. I guess I have been really hard on her. I just want her to be
the girl who held up her Xena doll and said 'Buff like, whoosh, hero'." 

"She will never be that person again. Mostly because of you. You have made
Duncan who she is, taught her, loved her and given her a taste of freedom.
She didn't reach this point in her life alone. And she still loves you." The
goddess explained. 

"I know. I never needed the bond to know that Duncan loved me." Buffy
replied.

"Do you know that Kate also loves you?" The goddess asked.

"I am not quit sure what to do with Kate. I kind of understand she isn't
just ours for two years. She is going to be with us for a while." Buffy said
slowly.

"She has left the kitchen." Willow in Tara's body said cryptically. 

"Meaning?" Buffy said 

"She lied to Tara and left the house. She has taken Duncan's problem
personally. Blaming herself. Kate still isn't completely balanced. Her
spirit still hasn't completely healed. You need to be careful with her.
Mostly she needs to belong to something, someone now. I think before you
talk with Duncan you might want to swing by that bar on 5th the cops hang
out in. Buffy you are the glue to your family. I think you might need to do
some sticking tonight." The goddess said before disappearing. 

Buffy turned around and Beth walked in the door. "Buffy I came up to see if
you needed anything." Beth said smiling at her boss. Buffy just leaned over
and kissed Beth.

"Thanks but I have to go kick my family around a little. Beth you're a good
friend." With that the slayer left.

Kate sat in the corner drinking her third beer. She was depressed. She
didn't know why she chose a cop bar but where else did cops go. A few of the
officers gave her a glance but mostly they were too busy being depressed
themselves. 

"You know I grounded Duncan for buying beer last week, do I have to ground
you too. Your doctor said you could have a beer or two a week but drinking
and your meds were a no-no." Buffy said evenly picking up Kate's glass and
pouring it into the sink behind the bar.

"Buffy!" Kate said kind of shocked. 

"Bartender, a Ricky right?" Buffy said waving to the guy on the other end of
the bar. All the cops and patrons were staring at Buffy. Buffy knew she
needed to make her claim to Kate very publicly on her turf. This was the
perfect place. 

"This is my woman, my property. And if I catch her drinking in here without
me again she isn't the only one going over my knee. Trust me Ricky, you will
not be able to sit for a month when I am done with you. She is not to drink
here again. Clear?" Buffy said flashing her hazel eyes in a way everyone
knew she meant business. 

"Yeah sure Buffy, ok I didn't know" The man stuttered. He had gone to high
school with Buffy. He knew she meant what she said. 


"And for the rest of you. Kate is mine, for the rest of her life." Buffy
said pulling Kate up so she could stare at her eye to eye. "Or as long as
you want to be mine." Buffy added. 

"I gave you my mark. I don't give them lightly Kate Lockley. That means you
have to take care of yourself. Be my good little slave. Especially now that
I am down to only one slave. Kate what happened to Duncan was not your
fault. In fact I am going to need you even more now then ever. I need to let
Duncan grow up. Become the person she wants to be. But I still have needs
and I think you can help me with that if you want too. It's really up to
you?" Buffy said evenly still holding Kate close staring her in the eyes.

"I love you." Kate said slowly. "I didn't want to hurt Duncan. I ...." Kate
broke off.

"You didn't do this to Duncan. As much as I want to blame myself I didn't do
this to Duncan either. She is going to die yes. Most people are going to
die. The lucky ones anyway. But she isn't dead yet. In fact I have been
guaranteed by the goddess Kali we still have a year of adolescent
misadventure to look forward too." Buffy said the last part laughing as she
pulled Kate into a close embrace. Then she kissed Kate gently on the lips.

"Well I was going to ask if you were alright Lockley but I guess you are."
Said one of the detectives she worked with. They had been a little alarmed
at Buffy claiming Kate as her property but if the kiss was any evidence Kate
wasn't really unhappy about it.

Buffy and Kate entered the kitchen. Joyce was still holding Duncan in her
arms while she spoke to Giles. Xander and Willow were in the corner arguing
over the movie Creature from the Black Lagoon. Tara and Anya were cooking at
the stove. 

"The goddess paid me a visit today. She said that everything I ever wanted
or needed was in the kitchen in my house. Looking around the room at all of
you, now that Kate is home too. I can say that all I ever wanted really is
right here in this room." Buffy announced smiling.

They had a nice gathering. A family gathering. Duncan's problem was
discussed but mostly they all just accepted it at face value. Duncan was
becoming real, what ever that was. But she was doing it on her own terms.
And she was still grounded. 

After everyone was gone, Buffy said to Tara, "Can you take Kate down to the
dungeon and punish her for drinking. I will spank her when you're done."

"Willow can you go down and help Tara and get set up for me. I think I need
to be punished as well." Buffy added with a smile.

"Sure." Willow said looking back at Duncan. They all knew Buffy wanted to
talk to Duncan alone.

After they were alone Buffy said to Duncan, "I am sorry. I shouldn't have
run off like that." 

"It's ok," Duncan lied.

"No it isn't. Duncan I still love you. The thought of losing you scares me.
But I understand why you broke the bond."

"It isn't you. I love you too. I just can't go on being..."

"A Reinfield." Buffy finished. 

"Yeah, I want to be real. I know I can't be human but I want to be... I
don't really have a word." Duncan said carefully. 

"Free, your own person. I understand really I do." Buffy said sweetly
kissing Duncan on the forehead.

"Coming scares me. It really hurt with Kate." Duncan said out of the blue.

"It wasn't coming that hurt but breaking the bond. Why don't you try coming
by yourself? I think they call it masturbating. I remember you doing that
once with Willow's laptop so I think you know how." Buffy said with a laugh.


"She paid more attention to it than she did to me. I got jealous." Duncan
said with a laugh.

"I thought Reinfields didn't get jealous." Buffy said still smiling.

"I am not your average Reinfield. Do you really think I should masturbate?"
She asked more seriously. 

"You fell off the horse, you need to get back on. To be honest I don't know
what you should do, I am not your owner anymore. You are going to have to
come up with your own game plans."

"So I am not grounded anymore?" Duncan asked hopefully

"I am not your owner, I still am your parent figure. You are so grounded.
Duncan you're still a kid, free or not. You need a parent. And I am going
to hate myself for this but parent figures don't sleep with kid figures. I
think it would be best if Kate moved into your room and you moved into
Kate's tomorrow. Or I could move my stuff into the den. I'll talk to Willow
and we will come up with something." Buffy carefully said.

"I still want to sleep with you. I like sex with you!" Duncan said
desperately. 

"That's the price of Becoming Real. You need this as much as I do. You need
a normal life for a while. You deserve a normal life." Buffy replied. 

Epilogue

Buffy bent down and put flowers on the grave. She was out of tears to cry.
She felt numb for the most part. Tara's arm wrapped around her and she
kissed her neck. Willow wiped her own tears away and put more flowers on the
grave. 

"I still can't believe we buried her next to Faith." Buffy said gritting her
teeth.

"It was Duncan's choice. She thought Faith might get lonely." Kate replied
from the other side of the grave. She couldn't bare to even see the names on
the tombstones. 

"Speaking of lonely, are you sure you don't want one of us to go to India
with you?" Tara asked.

"No I want to let loose and do some damage for a little while. If the
counsel is right something nasty is going on in India. Maybe a new Hellmouth
opening."

"Well if you are gone for too long we are all going to look for you." Willow
said sternly.

"It's probably nothing. They have a were-tiger girl locked up in a cage but
that is about it. You know their prophecies. A goddess is coming; the earth
is going to shake that kind of thing. The counsel are mostly a bunch of
whiners." Buffy said.

"Still we worry." Tara replied. She was glad Buffy was going to keep busy.
Duncan's death had hurt her. But there was the were-tiger. Duncan never
stayed very far from Buffy. Reincarnation may not be linear but it did get
you were you needed to be. They would find each other again even if she and
Kali/Willow had to do a lot of Earth shaking to get them together.
