I'm a long time lurker and usually don't post because my english can be
soooo crappy (I'm french... errr... my parents would say I'm portuguese
^^;)

I guess I subscribed to both lists in december 1999 but decided after a
few months to set my preferences for BWW to "no mail/web only." If
almost anything posted on BWW gets also posted on BLW, why bother with
two subscriptions ? I considered those lists to be two separate entities
: general stories for BLW and adult (with smut and/or "excessive"
violence) for BWW.

At that time BWW-only fics were really a minority (don't know if that's
still the case) and my favourite authors (weird, same as yours + some
other names ^^;) didn't go for smut... err... well Kimber did write a
wonderful B/F fic with a really nice love scene and Erin wrote that fun
B/F/W fic (Principles of Lust) answering Kim's challenge. Love them both
end loved the extra or modified scenes for the BWW-version of some fics
but at that time (spring or maybe summer 2000), BWW wasn't specific
enough to keep me interested. That and the fact I hadn't anymore the
same amount of time to keep reading fics ^^; I'm still trying to read
fic from new authors (ie who began posting after summer 2000) but can't
find time enough. I even haven't time enough to finish the french
translation of Kimber's "At Loose Ends"...
