vampire slayer characters.i do not know the name or names of the 
person,people,or company that owns the right to the highlander show 
and characters.Sam Raimi owns the rights to xena and the characters 
from that show.i am not stealing from them i am only using the 
characters from their shows in a fanfic story.no parts of this story 
whether in chapters or complete is to be posted or distributed 
anywhere without my knowledge and the complete authorization of the 
owners of those three shows.the characters from xena will only be 
mentioned once and only by 
titles.

After leaving Buffy and willow in the bathroom Cassandra headed 
for one of several spare bedrooms she used for storage.Once in the 
room Cassandra went to a rack of clothes that she had designed and 
made by hand.Cassandra moved from one rack of clothes to another 
which were lined up against the walls of the bedroom.After selecting 
a matching set of clothes for both willow and buffy that would really 
look good on them she walked back out of the spare bedroom.Cassandra 
hung the clothes on the bathroom's doorhandle and then she headed for 
the kitchen.When cassandra entered the kitchen she walked over to the 
phone that was on the wall and dialed a number she knew from 
memory.Fifteen seconds later Cassandra hung up the phone after 
getting a recorded message which said that the number she had called 
was disconnected.Cassandra picked up the phone once more and made a 
long distance call to Paris FRANCE.Cassandra waited for over two 
minutes for the phone call to go through and she was surprised when 
once again she got a recorded message saying that the phone number 
she had called was disconnected.Cassandra dialed the number again 
making sure that she had indeed dialed the number for Duncan's barge 
and again she got the same recorded message.Cassandra hung up the 
phone and then walked over to the pantry closet.Cassandra moved a few 
containers of spices out of her way until she found one that was in 
the very middle of the containers which was labeled death on one 
side.Cassandra took the container off the pantry shelf and she 
carried it over next to the sink and put it down.Cassandra removed 
the lid of the container and then she reached into the container of 
finely ground arsenic.Cassandra felt around in the container until 
she felt what she was looking for.Cassandra withdrew her hand and a 
small laminated card out of the container.after washing her hand and 
the laminated card off Cassandra resealed the container and put it 
back in the pantry closet.Cassandra walked back over to the wallphone 
and dialed the third number on the card.Twelve seconds later Joe 
Dawson picked up and said hello Joe Dawson speaking.Cassandra said hi 
Joe its me Cassandra and i need a favor from you.Joe Dawson was 
shocked that Cassandra had reached him at his office which was in the 
center of the Watcher's new base of operations which location was not 
known to any immortal and all the phone numbers were unlisted.Joe 
Dawson quickly overcame the shock and he said Cassandra how in the 
hell did you get this phone numer its unlisted and only watchers are 
supposed to know it with the exception of methos.Cassandra smirked 
and she said its quite simple i just asked my watcher for your number 
two weeks ago and he gave me all six of your phone numbers.Cassandra 
quickly pulled the phone away from her right ear when Joe 
screamed.Cassandra held the phone out while Joe very loudly started a 
line of cussing which would put most sailors to shame and then swore 
to have one hell of a long talk with Cassandra's watcher as soon as 
he could contact him and arrange for a face to face meeting.When joe 
had quieted down Cassandra put the phone back to her ear and said are 
you finished yet joe.Joe said yes for now i am now since you did call 
me may i ask what kind of favor you need from me.Cassandra said i 
need some information and you are the only one i know how to reach 
who could possibly tell me immedietly.Joe said Cassandra said i am 
sworn by my oath to the watchers to not give out information out to 
any immortal about other immortals so if thats what you want you can 
just forget it.Cassandra said Joe i just need to know where Duncan is 
and whats he doing i already called desalvo's gym and his barge in 
Paris and both of those phones were disconnected.Joe said why do you 
need to know where Duncan is and what he is up to.Cassandra said i am 
here in california as you know but i have two young ladies who are in 
desperate need of training and Duncan instantly popped into my mind 
because he is one of the best teachers aroumd.Joe said i got some bad 
news for you I'm afraid Duncan isnt available.Cassandra said what do 
you mean.Joe said Duncan is presently teaching one of Amanda's 
current associates who is also her boyfriend if the information i am 
getting from her watcher is correct.Cassandra said ok so Duncan is 
unavailable but what about Amanda.Joe said Amanda is busy running the 
bar that she and her associate run which is also one of Interpol's 
undercover operations.Cassandra said joe certainly amanda knows about 
that and joe said oh yes she is willingly working with them along 
with her associate who's name is Nick Wolf by the way.The next second 
Cassandra suddenly started laughing.after a few seconds Joe said 
Cassandra whats so funny.Cassandra said the very idea of Amanda a 
world class thief and immortal of her history running a bar which is 
one of Interpol's undercover operations just hit me funny.Joe laughed 
at that and he said your right i never thought of it that 
way.Cassandra was about to say goodbye to joe when she thought of 
something and she asked joe if he could tell her how many immortals 
were in or around sunnydale besides herself and the two young 
women.Joe said hold on a minute and then he went over to his computer 
terminal and accessed the information.Joe got back on the phone and 
he said Cassandra your in luck you and the two young ladies are the 
only immortals in almost two hundred miles from sunnydale in any 
direction.Cassandra said thanks joe and then she hung up.After 
hanging up the phone Cassandra said well Duncan and Amanda are 
unavailable so who else can i trust to train Buffy and 
willow.Cassandra walked out of the kitchen while thinking about it 
and before she knew it she was standing in front of a shelf that had 
pictures on it.Cassandra looked at the pictures and then an idea 
popped into her head.Cassandra said of course i will ask the bard and 
the princess for help but a second later she said no there is no way 
i will ever get them down from the mountain home.Cassandra thougth 
well i could take Buffy and willow to them but she reconsidered 
saying no they cant leave sunnydale long enough to be trained 
completely which of course they would insist on.Cassandra said well i 
guess that i will have to sleep on it tonight after we have discussed 
the prophecy and other things.
