are sometimes mentioned but they are not in the story. 
spoilers: too many episodes from different shows to name even if i 
did know their names. 
disclaimers: Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy own the rights to Buffy and 
the characters and storyline from that show.I believe that Joss 
Whedon and Mutant Enemy also own the rights to Angel since it is an 
offshoot of Buffy.I do not know at this time the name,names,or 
company that owns the right to Highlander or the characters from that 
show.Sam Raimi owns the right to Xena and its characters.I am not 
stealing from them i am only using the characters from their shows in 
a fanfic story.It is not to be posted or distributed anywhere without 
my knowledge and the complete authorization of the owners of those 
shows.

As they were all walking up the stairs Buffy said Amy why are all of 
you going through the boxes this late at night surely it could wait 
until morning.Amy looked back at Buffy and she said we are all still 
up for two reasons one of which is to hear about the accident Willow 
was supposedly in although to me she looks like she wasnt in one.Gunn 
said whats the second reason.Amy said earlier this evening Giles was 
going through one of the moving boxes that me and the others brought 
here while he stayed at the magic box and he found an old book that 
was believed by the watcher's council to have been destroyed 
centuries ago along with several other things.Cordelia said and he 
has had you and the others going through the boxes ever since 
right.Amy said well ever since eleven thirty when we got back from a 
concert. 

When they reached the top of the stairs Cordelia,Angel,and Gunn 
looked around while following Buffy,willow,and Amy down a hallway.As 
they entered the conference room as buffy and the others called it 
Amy said hey guys they are back and they brought some company along 
with them.Giles and all the others stopped whatever they were doing 
and looked over to where Amy and the others 
were.Xander,Anya,Oz,Tara,and Joyce Summers immedielty rushed over to 
them and looked willow over while they all asked her if she was 
ok.Giles who had put the book down after Willow and the others had 
entered walked up to them and he yelled silence.Oz and the others all 
turned and looked at him and Giles said we cant hear what Willow has 
to say if all of you are talking at the same time and then he turned 
to face Willow.Giles said willow are you sure you are ok from what 
the police officer told me and what i heard on the radio it was a 
very bad car accident and one person was reported dead at the 
scene.Willow became nervous and said was the person's name mentioned 
and Giles said no.Willow let out a sigh of relief and she said well 
at least thats good news and Buffy said thats for sure.Cordelia and 
all the others looked at Buffy and Willow and Joyce said buffy willow 
i am ashamed that you could say something like that about the death 
of someone. Buffy said mom you dont understand its a good thing that 
the name of the person who died wasnt mentioned.The next second Joyce 
slapped Buffy across the face and she said Buffy i had better never 
hear you ever say something like that again.Willow stepped in front 
of Buffy and she said everybody calm down and sit around the table me 
and Buffy have something to tell you 
all. 

Giles said thats a good idea and then he said Amy how about you 
and Anya go get some drinks for everyone.Amy nodded and then she and 
Anya headed for the kitchen to get something to drink for 
everyone. Six minutes later Amy and Anya walked back into the 
conference each of them carrying a tray.Amy's tray had nine 20oz 
bottled soft drinks,a bag of warmed blood,and a large ceramic goblet 
on it and Anya's tray had two mugs,a tea pot,and a portable coffee 
pot.The soft drinks were quickly passed out and Angel took the bag of 
blood and the ceramic goblet.Giles took the tea pot and sat it down 
on the table in front of him and Joyce did the same with the portable 
coffee 
pot. 

After everyone was seated Willow said as you all know earlier 
tonight i was in a car accident.Joyce said well at least you werent 
badly hurt in it like the person that died.Cordelia said uh guys i 
dont like bringing this up but earlier this evening about nine 
o'clock i had a vision of the accident and Willow was quite dead.Gunn 
said Cordelia you just have must of thought she was dead but she 
wasnt because she couldnt be here if she was.Willow looked at Buffy 
for support and Buffy took a hold of her hand and patted it with her 
other hand.Willow said actually i did die in the accident.Everyone 
but Buffy was shocked by this and then Joyce jumped up and said 
Willow i am shocked at you death is not something to joke about and i 
always thought that you would be the last one to joke around 
something like that.Buffy said mom she is not joking and she did die 
in the car accident.Giles looked at both Buffy and Willow and 
realized that they were both deadly serious about this.Giles said 
Willow if you died in the car accident how can you be sitting here 
with us now.Willow said well from what me and Buffy found out from 
someone i am Immortal.Joyce started to say something but Giles cut 
her off.Giles said who is this person who told you that you are 
immortal and how did you meet this person.Buffy said her name is 
Cassandra and she was at the accident site when i pulled Willow's 
body out of her car.Xander said come on Buffy you know better than 
just to trust someone you meet on the streets for the first 
time.Buffy said of course i didnt trust her right off Xander but what 
she told me and Willow explained how Willow came back to life after 
the accident and trust me when i say Willow was dead because i 
checked her for a pulse 
myself. 

Giles took his glasses off and laid them on the table before rubbing 
the bridge of his nose.Giles looked at Buffy and said what exactly 
did Cassandra say to explain Willow's immortality.Buffy looked at 
Giles and she said that Willow was an immortal like her and a bunch 
of others around the world and the only way one of them can die is if 
they have their heads cut from their bodies.Cordelia cried out EW and 
AMY said thats disgusting.Xander said i agree with both of what you 
two said.Joyce said come on Buffy you cant really buy what this 
Cassandra person said anymore than you can expect any of us 
to. 
The next second Giles looked at Willow and said Willow did this 
Cassandra happen to mention something called the Game.Buffy and 
Willow both looked at Giles shocked that he knew about the game.Buffy 
said you know about the sick demented game that immortals play and 
Willow said how do you know about the game.Giles stood up and he said 
well it seems that this Cassandra has been quite straightforward with 
you Willow if she told you about the game which she must have from 
what Buffy said. Joyce and the others were all looking at Giles when 
Joyce sid Giles your talking like what Buffy and Willow said is 
true. Giles looked at Joyce and said what they are saying is true 
there are immortals out in the world which it seems that Willow is 
now one of and they do play a game.Angel said Giles i am over two 
hundred years old and i have never heard of any immortal.Giles said 
thats not surprising since the immortals live normal ordinary lives 
when they arent challenged to play the game by another 
immortal. 

Willow said Angel think back through your memories of the centuries 
certainly somewhere you should remeber of either seeing,hearing,or 
reading about some bodies that were found with their heads cut off 
from their bodies.Angel thought a moment and then he said yes i have 
read and heard of such things and then he looked at Willow and said 
what exactly is this sick and demented game that Buffy and Willow 
mentioned.Buffy said to put it bluntly like Cassandra did its a game 
of survival that two immortals play and the winner is the one who 
still has their head connected to their body at the end.Amy said i 
feel like i am going to be sick and both Cordelia and Joyce said you 
aint the only one. Angel jumped up and he said there is no way in 
hell that i am going to let you take part in that game Willow.Giles 
said Angel i hate saying this but there is no way we can keep her 
from playing the game even if she didnt want to which i pretty well 
believe she wouldnt want to.Xander said if Willow doesnt want to play 
the game there is no way anyone is going to make her i will make sure 
of that and Oz said you arent the only one. Willow suddenly 
jumped up from the table and she said neither of you nor anyone else 
is going to interfere in the game.Buffy stood up beside Willow and 
put her hand on her shoulder.Buffy said guys what you dont understand 
is that some immortals might try to use some of you as a pawn to make 
us play the game and we dont want any of you getting hurt because of 
us or the stupid game.Gunn looked at Buffy and he said Buffy you dont 
have to play the game you arent immortal its Willow who is 
Immortal.Willow looked at Buffy and under her breath she said well 
the cats out of the bag now.Giles looked at Buffy and said Buffy you 
are the slayer you cant risk your life by trying to protect Willow 
from other immortals even as much as i wish you could.Buffy said 
Giles i know i cant protect Willow but just like her i am likely to 
be challenged as well.Giles and everyone but willow looked at 
Buffy.Joyce said Buffy didnt you understand what Giles said you cant 
fight in the game you are the slayer not an immortal.Buffy said mom 
I'm sorry but actually I'm both.Xander said both what.Willow said 
Buffy is both the slayer and an immortal or to say it according to 
the prophecy she is the Immortal Slayer.
