do not presently know the name,names,or company who owns the rights 
to Highlander and it characters and storylines.Sam Raimi and Rob 
Tapert own the rights to Xena and its characters and storylines.I am 
not stealing from them i am only using the characters and storylines 
in a fanfic story.It is not to be posted or distributed anywhere

Two hours after locking the cardkey in the library's safe Giles 
called everyone into the conference room.Once everyone was seated 
Giles said i am sorry to tell some of you this but not everyone can 
go to meet with Cassandra.Xander said why not we all want to hear 
what this Cassandra has to say and to put our two cents in on whats 
decided.Joyce saw that Amy and some of the others felt the same way 
and she said Giles why cant all of us go to see her.Giles said 
Cassandra agreed to let me come to her house and look over the 
prophecy scroll and i dont want to make her angry or anything by 
having us all go to herself when she is only expecting 
Buffy,Willow,and myself.Angel said Giles has a very good point guys 
and i think that most of you should stay with the exception of 
Ms.Summers because she is Buffy's mother and she should hear what 
Cassandra has to say first hand.Giles said Joyce will be accompanying 
me,Buffy,and Willow for that very reason and we will have a meeting 
to discuss what was said after we get back so you will all hear what 
we have found out.Xander said but what are the rest of us supposed to 
do while you are gone.Buffy said do anything you like as long as you 
do it around the house because i for one will probably not feel like 
waiting for any of you to get back from where ever you went so we 
could start the meeting.Angel said i am afraid that me,Cordelia,and 
Gunn wont be here for the meeting we need to get back to Los Angeles 
we never know when Cordelia is going to have a vision of something 
happening in Los Angeles.Giles said well i will call you after the 
meeting and let you know how everything went at Cassandra's and 
here. 

About seven-thirty that night Buffy,Willow,Joyce,and Giles all 
climbed into Joyce's car and they headed for Cassandra's home.Joyce 
pulled her car up to the curb in front of Cassandra's house and 
parked it there because there was no driveway.As they were getting 
out of the car Cassandra walked out of the house and she met them 
halfway.Buffy introduced Casandra to Giles and her mother and vice 
versa as they walked into the house.Cassandra led them into the 
living room and both Buffy and Willow had to pull Giles along because 
he had started looking at some of the items that was in the foyer 
hallway.When they entered the living room Cassandra said let me go 
get another pillow i was just expecting three of you.Joyce said I'm 
sorry for coming unannounced or without invitation but Buffy is my 
only daughter and i wanted to hear what you had to say for 
myself.Cassandra smiled and she said thats the only right way for a 
mother to feel and i am glad that you did come so that i could meet 
you as well.Cassandra said please sit down i will be back in a moment 
and then she walked out of the living room.Giles swirled to look at 
Willow and Buffy and he said neither of you bothered to mention the 
items she has on display in her house.Buffy said hey i am not into 
items Giles i am into slaying thats your and mom's sort of 
things.Giles said its also Willow's kind of things and he said well 
Willow why didnt you tell me about the kind of stuff she had in her 
house and dont say you didnt know about them because i know better 
than that your mystic senses are a lot better than mine and mine have 
been going off ever since we walked into the house.Willow said sorry 
Giles i forgot to tell you and anyway i didnt get any bad vibes from 
the stuff here last night and i am not tonight either.A moment later 
Cassandra said watcher if you would like to take a closer look at the 
items i have collected in my lifetime maybe we can make a deal.Giles 
said what kind of deal.Cassandra said Willow made a reference to your 
collection of books when we talked last night and i became interested 
in seeing what exactly you have in your collection when Willow 
mentioned that she had found the ancient traditions and rites that 
the original wiccans used in one of the books in your 
collection.Giles turned to look at Willow and he glared at her and 
said we will discuss your lack of control when talking about my 
collection later Willow and then he turned to face Cassandra.Giles 
said why do you want to look at my collection of books i am pretty 
sure that you have probably seen most of them in your lifetime if the 
items i have seen in your house is just the tip of the iceberg of 
what you have collected.Cassandra smiled quite happy that Giles was 
suspicious of her motives for wanting to look at his 
collection.Cassandra said as i told Willow last night there is some 
knowledge that should not be in the hands of children and i would 
like to make sure that Willow or any of the other children get their 
hands on books they shouldnt be reading.Giles smiled and he said i 
keep the dangerous books like that locked up and have forbidden 
Willow,Amy,and Tara from touching them.Cassandra said i would still 
like to look at your collection because i know about a lot of books 
and i might find something you have missed.Giles was about to say 
something when Willow said Giles you could ask her about some of the 
books that you couldnt identify that belonged to Mayor Wilkins like 
that book which was titled Quadrin's red grimoire if the computer 
translation program was correct.Cassandra jumped to her feet shocked 
at hearing this and she said you have Quadrin's red grimoire in your 
collection.Giles glared at Willow and then he said its not in my 
collection yet although i do have it i need to find out about it 
before i consider adding it to my collection.Cassandra said where is 
it and Joyce said its at our home.Cassandra said take me there i need 
to see the book for myself to make sure it is Quadrin's red 
grimoire.Buffy said Cassandra i am getting very strong vibes that 
your trying to tell us that that red grimoie book is real bad 
mojo.Cassandra said if it is indeed Quadrin's red grimoire than it is 
super bad mojo.Joyce said come on we will take you over to our house 
and you can take a look at it for yourself and i wouldnt mind if you 
would look over the other books and items that used to belong to 
Mayor Wilkins.Cassandra said why do you want me to look over the 
other books and items that belonged to him and what happened to him 
that they came into your possession.Willow said Mayor Wilkins 
Ascended into a Giant snake demon on the night of me and Buffy's high 
school graduation and we blew him and the high school which he was in 
up in our attempt to kill him.Giles and the others got to their feet 
and headed for the front 
door. 

Twenty minutes later Giles,Joyce,Cassandra,Buffy,and Willow walked 
up to the foyer door and Giles pressed the buzzer.A minute later Anya 
walked up to the door and after looking at the monitor to see who was 
with Giles and the others she switched off the foyer's security 
system for a minute and a half.Giles opened the door when a beep was 
heard and he told Cassandra to go on through the foyer and they would 
be with her in a few moments.Cassandra did as Giles said and while 
she did that Giles and the others inserted their id cards into a slot 
and spoke into a device which would check their voice 
prints. 

Giles,Buffy,Joyce,Cassandra,and Willow headed for the conference 
room where the books were and on the way Xander and the others joined 
the parade.When they entered the conference room Giles said the books 
on the table all belonged to Mayor Wilkins.Cassandra said i will look 
at them later show me the book thats supposed to be Quadrin's red 
grimoire.Giles looked at Willow and he asked her where she had put it 
after translating the title.Willow said over here and she walked over 
to a stack of books and she pulled a book out of the stack.Cassandra 
and Giles walked up to Willow and Cassandra took the book from 
her.Cassandra examined the outside of the book and then she turned to 
Giles and she said this is indeed Quadrin's red grimoire and we have 
to get it someplace where it can be locked up hopefully forever.Giles 
said is it that dangerous and Cassandra said it can be in the wrong 
hands and its definitely not safe to have around the hellmouth 
because this place draws trouble like bees to honey.Joyce said if its 
not safe here than where and to whom can we send it to where it will 
be safe.Willow thought a second and then she said what about that 
Legacy group that Gunn told us Wesley and Faith were working with 
now.Giles looked at Willow and he said Wesley and Faith joined the 
legacy and Buffy said yeah at least thats what Gunn and Cordelia told 
us.Cassandra looked at Giles and said do you think the book would be 
safe in the hands of this legacy group.Giles said it should be they 
are a group who tracks down dangerous mystic items and they lock up 
the really dangerous items in vaults that only a very few of their 
members know the locations of and how to get into them.Giles said the 
question is how do we get in touch with them the watcher's council 
never had any real contact with them.Buffy said lets contact 
Gunn,Wesley gave him a card with a phone number on it to use in case 
they got into more trouble than they could handle by themselves.Giles 
said i will call them in the morning and get Gunn to contact Wesley 
and tell him about the book.Cassandra found that agreeable and then 
she said let me take a look at the rest of the books that belonged to 
Mayor Wilkins we might need to send more than just that book to the 
Legacy.An hour later Cassandra had examined the rest of the books and 
five more books were stacked together with the grimoire to be sent to 
the legacy.Cassandra said the rest of these books should be safe 
enough to add to your collection watcher but to the locked up 
section.Giles smiled and he said i will do it as soon as the meeting 
is over.Cassandra said yes we need to continue the 
meeting. 

Cassandra and the others sat down at the large table and Cassandra 
said before we start i need to know what exactly Willow and Buffy 
told you.Giles said they told us that according to a prophecy you 
have that they are immortal,about the game,and that Buffy is 
supposedly the immortal slayer.Cassandra looked at Willow and said 
you forgot to tell them about your title and that your the Immortal 
Pair.Willow shrugged and said i didnt think it was neccessary Buffy 
being the Immortal slayer is a lot more important than me.Buffy 
looked at Willow and she said no you are not you are just as 
important as i am if not more because you are one of my strongest 
supporters and without you i would be lost.Willow looked at buffy and 
then she leaned over and kissed her not thinking about them being in 
the conference room with the others around them.Xander was shocked 
and he said willow you just kissed Buffy.Willow looked over at Xander 
and she started to get embarrassed but then her resolve look appeared 
on her face.Willow said yes i did Xander and there is nothing wrong 
with me kissing Buffy.Xander said but Buffy is a woman just like 
you.Anya who had been given some advice by Cordelia on their way home 
reached over behind Xander and slapped him upside the back of his 
head.Anya said Xander there is nothing wrong with Willow kissing 
Buffy or anything else they do together since they are in love.Giles 
looked at Anya and he said Anya i thought we talked about this a 
while back and Anya looked at him and said we did but things have 
changed since then and then she looked over at Buffy and Willow who 
were holding hands.Buffy looked at Giles and said it ok Giles,Anya is 
right things have changed since you talked to her and then she looked 
over at Willow.Willow raised the hand that she was holding onto 
Buffy's hand with above the table for all to see and she said Anya is 
correct me and Buffy do love each other.Xander jumped up and said 
thats sick willow but before he could say anything Anya grabbed a 
hold of his ear with one hand and the back of his pants with the 
other.Anya said please excuse us we will be back as soon as i knock 
some sense into my boyfriend and then she started pulling Xander away 
from the table and out of the conference room 
altogether. 

Outside the conference room Xander tried to pull away from Anya but 
she just tightened her grip on his ear and the back of his pants.Anya 
said dont try and pull away from me Xander i dont want to hurt you 
but we are going to our bedroom and have a talk.Xander said ok 
realizing he had no choice but to comply with what Anya said but he 
made a solid mental note to do his best to keep Cordelia and Anya 
apart as much as possible because he didnt need Anya learning anymore 
of Cordelia's tactics on how to control 
him 

Back in the conference room Giles asked Buffy and Willow when they 
had revealed their feelings for each other to each other.Buffy said 
last night after the accident i just couldnt keep how i felt about 
Willow to myself anymore and to my utter surprise Willow told me that 
she felt the same way about me.Willow said my death made me realize 
that i should show Buffy how i felt before it became too late and 
thats what i did.Amy looked over at Tara and Tara shook her 
head.Three seconds later Tara and Amy in unison said well its about 
time you two.Willow and Buffy looked at Amy and Tara and Willow said 
you knew we had feelings for each other before we did.Tara said duh 
almost everyone who lives here with the exception of Xander started 
noticing how you behaved around each other ever since we moved into 
this place.Buffy said what do you mean.Amy said do we have to spell 
it out for you.Oz said both of you used to look at the other when you 
thought no one was looking especially the other.Willow blushed a deep 
red and she leaned over and tried to hide her face in Buffy's neck 
and hair while wanting to die because of the embarrasment she 
felt.Buffy patted Willow's neck and she said Willow if you are going 
to stay pressed against my neck you need to move your chair over 
closer to me so you dont tump it over.Willow pulled away from Buffy 
and sat down in her chair but she slid it closer to Buffy's chair in 
case she wanted to hide her embarrasment 
again. 

To move the discussion away from Buffy and Willow and how they felt 
for each other Giles asked Cassandra and the others if any of them 
were thirsty and would like a drink before we continued the 
meeting.Cassandra said i would like some herbal tea if you have 
any.Amy said we have several kinds of herbal tea do you have a 
certain preference that you want.Cassandra said chemoke if you have 
any and Tara said we do and we will bring you some when we get the 
rest of the drinks.Amy and Tara got up from the table and they headed 
down to the kitchen to get the drinks and make the two different 
kinds of tea Giles and Cassandra wanted and a some freshly brewed 
coffee for 
Joyce. 

After Tara and Amy had headed for the kitchen Giles turned to 
Cassandra and he said Cassandra what role does Willow have in this 
prophecy,what is this title that she is supposed to have,and what do 
you mean by the immortal pair.Cassandra said i can answer all three 
questions with one answer.Cassandra said just as Buffy is the 
immortal slayer Willow is the Immortal Wicca and they are the 
Immortal Pair who are to stand against the vampires and other 
creatures that are a danger to the world such as demons and the dark 
gods who were trapped by the forces of good eons ago.Joyce said if 
the dark gods were trapped eons ago then how could they be a threat 
to the world.Cassandra said the dark gods may be trapped and unable 
to return to earth but that doesnt mean they dont have any influence 
here on earth there are a number of people they can get to do what 
they 
want. 

When Amy and Tara got back to the conference room they passed out 
the softdrinks,bottled water,coffee,and two different types of herbal 
to before sitting down back in their seats.Giles said Cassandra do 
you plan to teach both of them they will both need to learn how to 
fight with a sword properly.Cassandra said no i do not because i am 
not good enough with a sword to teach them what they have to learn 
especially since they not only have to fight other immortals but 
vampires,demons,and other assorted things.Joyce said if your not 
going to teach them than who is.Cassandra said i am working on trying 
to find two immortals who i trust who are available and willing to 
move here to sunnydale to teach them.Amy said not having much luck i 
take it.Cassandra said no i am not the two immortals i trust the most 
are unavailable because one of them is training another new immortal 
and the other is running a bussiness which she cant get away from and 
i have been racking my brain trying to think of someone else ever 
since i found out they were unavailable.Giles said well until you can 
find someone to teach them i guess that i will have to teach them 
what i know.Cassandra said i dont think thats wise and Joyce saidm 
why not.Cassandra said each immortal has a different teaching style 
and you might hamper the lessons they will get from whichever 
Immortal trains them.Giles saw the logic in Cassandra's statement and 
he said ok i wont teach them how to use a sword but i will see to it 
that they start working out so they can get in better shape than they 
are in now.Joyce thought of something and she said Willow and Buffy 
are going to need swords of their own arent they.Cassandra said yes 
they are.Oz said oh swords are easy to come by there is a store in 
the mall that sells knives,swords,and most of the martial art weapons 
ever created.Cassandra said i am afraid that anything that store or 
any other in sunnydale has will be unacceptable.Buffy said why will 
they be unacceptable.Cassandra said modern swords and when i say that 
i mean any sword that has been made in the last two to three hundred 
years just arent good enough for immortals to use.Giles said why not 
and Cassandra said because most of the swordsmiths who have lived in 
the past three hundred years have lost some of the neccessary skills 
required to make swords properly or they have just taken shortcuts in 
their work.Willow said so we will need swords that are four hundred 
years old or older.Cassandra said yes and such swords arent easy to 
find either and neither are they cheap.Joyce said yes the last time i 
heard of a sword that was over four hundred years old was sold it was 
sold for twenty-five thousand dollars.Cassandra said yes thats the 
problem with getting the old swords and why a number of immortals 
keep a number of swords that belonged to the immortals they beat.Amy 
said dont you keep any extra swords and Cassandra said i only have 
four swords and i am not willing to sell any of them.Tara said why 
not and Cassandra said its a personal matter which i prefer not to go 
into very much but i will say that three of the swords belonged to 
immortals who wronged me before and after i became immortal.Joyce 
said well i guess i could try to use my contacts in the art world to 
find some old swords which we can buy from the gallery after they 
arrive.
