Just finished reading this amazing series. I love how Willow seen the rage 
on her friends' faces and feeling various emotions to stop them from hurting 
themselves. She is the only one that everyone would feel horribly guilty 
for not being there to protect her. As you said, she is the heart of the 
Scoobies. I am glad however that we did see glimpses of the Willow we know 
and love occasionally when Xander or Spike did something funny. Spike being 
their guide to these disgusting and monsterous beings and building up his 
anger just enough before he watched them suffer. I loved Giles' definition 
of the word no. It was nice to see the old Ripper. Xander is a strong man 
and friend and I'm glad Spike noticed how well he can fight. Buffy's turn 
was so believeable, I could so totally see her lose herself and kill the 
bastards that hurt her Willow. I'm very happy that Willow saved Buffy from 
herself and that Spike had a fantastic back up plan with the vamps. It was 
wonderful that Buffy staked them and enjoyed it immensely. The POV's were 
all excellent. Even the ones of the rapists while getting the crap beaten 
out of them and scared to death of the vamps. This was a truly brilliant 
series. Thank you so much.
