Once Buffy's wound had healed and she was able to stand on her own 
Willow said i think we should call an end to the patrol.Buffy said 
yes we should we need to get back home and tell Giles about the group 
of vampires that attacked us because it is definitely a sign that 
something is up.Willow walked over to where her gun was and she 
picked it up and then she picked up the three empty clips she had let 
fall to the ground after they were empty.Willow put the glock 9mm in 
the shoulder holster and the empty clips into her right jacket 
pocket.Buffy and Willow walked out of the cemetary and headed toward 
where they had left their motorcycles locked up.When they got to 
their motorcycles Willow said Buffy i think we should make a run by 
Willie's and see if we can find out anything new from him.Buffy 
smiled and she said good idea but you had better switch to the 44 
automag because you only have about eight 9mm rounds left for the 
glock.Willow drew both guns and she put the 9mm where the 44 automag 
had been and the 44 where the 9mm had been and then she moved the 
clips for the 44 automag next to the 44 
automag. 

Ten minutes later Buffy and Willow pulled up in front of Willie's 
bar and they climbed off their motorcycles after turning them 
off.Buffy and Willow walked into Willie's bar and they were halfway 
to the bar when some of the customers recognized them and it quickly 
became almost deathly quiet in the club when the conversations ended 
abruptly.Buffy rapped on top of the bar and she motioned for Willie 
to come to her.The next second a small demon dropped down out of the 
rafters and landed on top of the bar right in front of Buffy.The 
demon said Willie doesnt have anything to say to you so get out of 
here or else.Buffy looked straight into the demon's eyes and she said 
or else what.An evil grin appeared on the demon's face and he said if 
you dont leave voluntarily the best you can expect is to be carried 
out in several pieces in a body bag and then he smiled showing his 
sharp sharklike teeth.The next second Buffy grabbed the demon by his 
throat,turned halfway around,and threw him at a wall.The demon hit 
the wall hard but was up on his feet a second later rushing 
Buffy.Buffy waited until he was halfway to her and then she drew her 
9mm glock and shot him right in the crotch.The demon stopped 
instantly and dropped to the ground in pain and he started 
crying.Several of the vampires and other demons in the bar decided to 
attack Buffy and Willow but stopped suddenly when Willow drew her 44 
automag and shot the two in front right through the heart.Buffy 
whirled around when she heard Willow's gun go off and she saw the 
vampires and demons that had tried to attack them.Buffy said you got 
them covered and Willow said oh yeah i got them covered and if the 
gun doesnt stop them i'm sure that fire will.Buffy turned and walked 
over to the small demon who was still laying on the floor.Buffy 
grabbed a hold of the hair on the demon's hair and she pulled his 
head up so she could look into his eyes.Buffy said let this be a 
warning to you and everyone else in here never threaten me or my 
friends.Buffy let go of the demon's hair and his head hit the floor 
hard and Willie winced knowing that had to have hurt.Buffy said hey 
Willie come here and Willie quickly walked out from behind the bar 
and over to Buffy.Buffy looked at Willie and she said are you hiring 
demons to protect you now.Willie looked at the floor and then he 
looked straight into Buffy's eyes and he said i am damn tired of 
being pushed around so yeah i hired him to protect me and this was 
his first night at work but now he wont be helping me anymore.Willow 
looked at Willie and she said Willie i know we use you as a source of 
information but are you picked on by other vampires and demons 
because of it.Willie looked at Willow and he said some of them say 
they pick on me because of it but to tell you the truth i was picked 
on long before you ever started coming to me for information.Willow 
looked at the demon and said what kind of demon is he and Willie said 
he is a norka demon and they are one of the few kinds of demons that 
can be trusted when they give their word.Willow walked over to the 
demon and she said whats your name.The demon said Kristos.Willow said 
Kristos if i remove the bullet and heal you will you give me your 
word to do your best to protect Willie.Kristos looked up at Willow 
and said you would take me at my word after i threatened you and the 
slayer.Buffy said Willow what are you doing.Willow said Buffy i know 
how Willie feels i was picked on almost all my life until the day i 
met you and Willie deserves to feel safe like i do now.Buffy nodded 
and she said ok do what you feel is right.Willow said Kristos i will 
take you at your word because i know that Willie knows a lot about 
demons and if he trusts your word that is enough for me.Kristos said 
i would protect Willie as best as i could but i cannot because of the 
bullet has crippled me.Willow said i can heal you Kristos but i have 
one request of you before i do it.Kristos said what do you want of 
me.Willow said if you find yourself unable to protect Willie without 
throwing your life away unneccesarily get our phone number from him 
and call us for help.Kristos said you would help a demon protect him 
from other demons and vampires.Buffy said we would if we had your 
word that you wouldnt have anything to do with setting up a trap for 
us.Kristos said you have my word and then Willow closed her eyes and 
she used her Wiccan abilities to remove the bullet and heal his 
injuries.Kristos stood up and he checked himself out before looking 
at Willow and Buffy and thanked Willow.Buffy saw some of the looks 
the other demons and vampires were giving her,Willow,Kristos,and 
Willie and she said Willow i think we need to give the rest of these 
guys an idea of what we will do if Kristos or Willie ever call us for 
help.Willie said quickly grabbed a hold of Willow's arm and he said 
please dont shoot up my place anymore i barely make enough money to 
keep this place open with the normal amount of damage thats done 
every week.Willow looked at Buffy and Buffy said ok lets do as he 
asks.Willow and Buffy slid their guns into the shoulder holsters and 
the vampires and demons except for Kristos started walking toward 
them.Willow said Kristos i strongly suggest you and Willie get behind 
the bar because its going to get quite hot in here.Willow touched the 
fire runestone on the gauntlet and she mentally commanded a circle of 
fire to appear around the demons and vampires.A circle of fire 
appeared around the vampires and demons and most of them backed up 
away from it but couldnt go very far because they were all 
surrounded.Buffy said if we are ever called the least any of you can 
expect is to be barbequed.Willow said i think we need to make a bit 
more of an example and suddenly three vampires who had tried to sneak 
up on them from behind after entering the bar went up like 
bonfires.Willie yelled hey this place is filled with alcohol put out 
those fires before you set this whole place unfire.The three bonfires 
disappeared when the vampires turned to dust but the circle of fire 
remained.Willow said we will be leaving now but the circle of fire 
will stay until we are on our motorcycles.Buffy and Willow walked out 
of the bar and climbed on their motorcycles.Buffy said well this sure 
has been an interesting night and Willow said it sure has 
been. 

When they got home Buffy asked Anya if she knew where Giles was and 
Anya said he is at the computer reading the newspapers from London 
that came out while we were gone.Buffy and Willow walked over to the 
computer and gave him a report about the attack at the cemetary but 
they left out what happened at Willie's bar like they had agreed 
to.Giles said Willow go down to the security room and lower the 
pannels and activate all the sensors outside the house i dont want us 
to be surprised tonight while we are sleeping.Willow said ok and then 
she headed downstairs to the security 
room. 

About an hour later Willow and Buffy were sitting at the kitchen 
table while Joyce cooked them some food when the phone rang.Buffy got 
up from the table and walked over to the phone and answered it.Buffy 
was surprised to hear Kristos's voice when she said hello and he 
asked to speak to the slayer.Buffy said its me Kristos and then she 
said dont tell me that someone has already tried to do something 
about you and Willie.Kristos laughed and he said no nothing like that 
has happened and i dont think anything along those lines will happen 
anytime soon.Buffy said then why have you called.Kristos said i 
called because i just overheard some information that i think you 
will definitely be interested in.Buffy said go ahead.Kristos said a 
few minutes ago a few vampires that Willie didnt recognize from being 
around here came into the bar and they started talking about a group 
of vampires that had been gathered to attack you and your friends by 
some group of lawyers in L.A..Buffy said did they mention the name of 
the lawfirm the lawyers work for and Kristos said no but there is 
only one lawfirm in L.A. that does bussiness with vampires and thats 
Wolfram and Hart.Buffy said is that all they said and Kristos said no 
one of them mentioned some bad british vampire that had recently got 
dechipped was supposed to be in charge of the vampires along with 
three other vampires and some british warlock.Buffy was shocked and 
she said Kristos put Willie on the phone now i need to talk to him.A 
second later Willie got on the phone and he said its me what do you 
want.Buffy said Willie when was the last time you heard something 
about spike before tonight and where exactly was he last seen.Willie 
said the last thing i heard of him before tonight was that he had 
left town but there were a couple rumors about him being in Los 
Angeles but i didnt believe them because there had been no vibes 
coming from Los Angeles which there would have been if he had been 
seen and anyway Los Angeles was too close to Sunnydale for him to 
stop if he was running away from Drusilla.Buffy thanked Willie and 
told him to give Kristos her thanks as well and then she hung 
up.Buffy said Mom forget about the food we have real trouble we need 
to discuss.Buffy walked over to the entercom pannel and she said 
everyone report to the conference room on the double we have big 
trouble looming ahead of 
us. 

When everyone was sitting down in the conference room Giles said 
Buffy why have you called us all here nothing you reported to me 
earlier is bad enough to call us for a meeting.Buffy said i just got 
a phone call from a reliable source that me and Willow met earlier 
tonight at Willie's bar and he had some very bad news to tell 
me.Joyce said who is this reliable source and what did he have to 
say.Willow said his name is Kristos and he is a norka demon.Xander 
said Buffy i cant believe you would take the word of a demon he was 
most likely just lying to you.Buffy said i dont think so Xander 
because no one not even a demon would make up lies like what Kristos 
told me.Anya said i have to agree with Buffy on this one Xander 
because norka demons are very honorable they very rarely lie and they 
never break their word to someone they have given it to.Giles said 
yes i have heard the same thing about norka demons although not much 
else is known about them.Anya said well i can tell you everything i 
know about them.Buffy said that will have to wait until later because 
what i have to say is much more important.Buffy said according to 
Kristos a couple vampires stopped by Willie's bar after we had left 
and they talked about a group of vampires that had been assembled by 
some lawyers in L.A. to take all of us out.Giles looked at Buffy and 
he said did you find out the names of any of the lawyers.Buffy said 
no but according to Kristos there is only lawfirm in L.A. that does 
bussiness with vampires and thats Wolfram and Hart.Joyce said your 
father used to talk about that firm quite often while we were still 
married and from what i gathered they were quite highly 
respected.Giles said i also have heard of them but it was from Angel 
who said that he had quite a bit of trouble from that law firm which 
represents demons and vampires as well as regular people.Willow said 
we had better call Angel and tell him about this and Buffy said we 
will but first let me finish because i have even worse news.Buffy 
said the vampires also referred to some bad british vampire that had 
recently got dechipped was supposed to lead the group with three 
other vampires and one british warlock.Everybody was shocked and 
Giles said damn this is very bad and Xander said it sure is.Willow 
looked over at Amy and she said Amy i want you to perform the 
revoking invitation spell for the house tonight right after the 
meeting is over and Amy said consider it done.Anya said did they 
mention who was the other vampires who were also in charge and Buffy 
said no but they might not be our worst threat.Joyce said what do you 
mean.Buffy said its this British warlock that they mentioned that 
worries me as much as Spike especially if its who i think it might be 
and she looked over at Giles.Giles said i damn well wouldnt put it 
past him to help Spike and the other vampires to get rid of us.Joyce 
said who are you talking about and Buffy said his name is Ethan 
Raynes and he and Giles went to school together and we have gone up 
against him several times and boy is he a pain in the ass.Giles said 
I'm going to call Angel and have him and the others come down here 
after i tell him the bad news because he might have some ideas of who 
the other three vampires are.Willow said well its a damn safe bet 
that one of the three will be Drusilla and Buffy said yes she has to 
be one of them.
