To all residents of the List Gutter and the Woods Out Back:

The United Vegetable Empire would like to announce the founding of the First
United Vegetable Church of Joss.

Worship services are to be held on our holy day of Tuesday.

Our doors are open, all are welcome. Night services will be held for those
who are vampiric in nature. No violence, vegomatics or eating of other
worshippers on the grounds please. Yes demonic cabbages, you have to follow
the no eating rule too.

This Tuesday's services will be devoted to prayer and supplication to the
great Joss for the swift return of a certain departed Slayer to the land of
the living.

If you should feel so inclined, please drop a naked redhead in the
collection plate. Offerings from this service will be used as enticements
for the aforementioned Slayer to return, just in case she likes the afterlife.
