mind. 

As they were pulling out through the gate Giles said Gunn do you 
know a phone number that i can use to call Wesley i need to advise 
him and the others who he works with about Spike and Drusilla are 
working with Ethan and Wolfram and Hart.Gunn said but they are just 
after you and the others it has nothing to do with them so why tell 
them.Giles said I'm not so sure about that you see i know that 
Spike,Drusilla,and Ethan might come after us seperately or together 
but Buffy and the rest of us who live here in Sunnydale have never 
had any confrontations with Wolfram and Hart at least none that we 
know of.Gunn said Wolfram and Hart could be coming after you guys 
because you are our allies.Giles said that might be true but as i see 
it all of our recent problems started after we got our hands on the 
items and books that were owned by Mayor Wilkins.Gunn said you think 
that Wolfram and Hart want the items and books and Giles said yes i 
do.Gunn told Giles the phone number he knew for the Luna house where 
Wesley 
lived. 

Giles pulled out his cellular phone and he dialed the number and a 
few seconds later Charles answered the phone and he said hello Luna 
house.Giles said I'm sorry i must have dialed the wrong number i was 
trying to reach a friend of mine.Giles was about to hang up when 
Charles said sir whats your friends name.Giles said my name is Rupert 
Giles and i was trying to reach my friend Wesley.Charles said please 
wait a minute sir i will go get him sir.A minute later Wesley picked 
up the phone and he said what do you want Giles.Giles said i called 
to tell you some news we found out last night and its not good.Wesley 
said how bad.Giles said ever since we got hold of the books and items 
things have started happening and last night we found out that 
Wolfram and Hart are behind it.Wesley said damn that is bad news and 
Giles said yes but it gets worse because of who they have working for 
them.Wesley said go ahead and tell me.Giles said well we know the 
identities of two of the four vampires who are leading a group of 
vampires they have gathered together and they are working with a 
british warlock who we believe is Ethan Raynes.Wesley said this is 
just getting worse and then he said who are the two vampires you have 
identified.Giles said you arent going to like this and then he said 
they are Spike and Drusilla.Wesley started cursing and Alex and some 
of the others in the room with him all looked at him.Faith who was 
also in the room said uh oh something is wrong.Wesley said Giles i 
thought Spike had been chipped by the initative.Giles said he had 
been but Wolfram and Hart probably had someone remove it.Wesley said 
do you have any idea of who the other two vampires could be and Giles 
said nope we havent the slightest idea which is why we are coming 
heavily armed to the meeting site and we called in Angel and his team 
for help.Wesley said thanks for letting us know we will prepare 
ourselves for an attack along those lines.Wesley hung up the phone 
and then he turned to face the others in the 
room. 

Wesley said get everybody to the conference room a situation has 
appeared that might complicate getting ahold of the items and 
books.Alex said what do you mean and Wesley said i will explain once 
everyone is in the conference room.Alex,Nick,and Rachel all walked 
out of the room and headed in different directions to go tell 
everyone to report to the conference room.Faith walked up to Wesley 
and she said did i hear you mention Spike.Wesley looked at Faith and 
he nodded his head.Wesley said i will explain when we get to the 
conference room but i will tell you that its not good at 
all. 

Two minutes later Rachel and Kat who were the last to arrive walked 
into the conference room and they sat down at the table.Wesley said i 
just got a phone call from my friend Rupert Giles and he informed me 
that the situation has changed for the worse.Derek said what do you 
mean.Wesley said according to Giles things have been happening in 
Sunnydale ever since he and the others got a hold of the books and 
items and last night they found out why.Alex said i dont 
understand.Wesley said Giles believes that Wolfram and Hart want the 
items and books that had belonged to Mayor Wilkins and they are 
willing to go to great lengths to get them.Nick said Wolfram and Hart 
are a lawfirm why would they want to get a hold of the items and 
books.Faith said Wolfram and Hart are a lawfirm but they represent 
demons and vampires as well as humans and they do all kinds of 
bussiness with the demons,vampires,and evil people that has nothing 
to do with the law.Derek said why didnt you two tell us this before 
now and Wesley said the subject never came up.Alex said what can we 
expect from Wolfram and Hart.Wesley said they have already assembled 
a large group of vampires which undoubtedly they are going to use to 
get hold of the items but the worst news is who they have leading the 
group.Faith looked at Wesley and she said no they cannot have Spike 
leading them he was chipped by the initative so he cant hurt 
people.Wesley said Wolfram and Hart had the chip removed and he has 
teamed up with Drussila,two vampires whos identity is not presently 
known,and a british warlock who Giles believes to be Ethan 
Raynes.Derek jumped up when Ethan's name was mentioned and he said is 
this Giles certain that Ethan has joined forces with the 
vampires.Wesley said well none of them has seen him yet but he is the 
only person who fits the bill that they know and Wolfram and Hart it 
seems picked people who know Buffy or members of her group to help 
them and Giles and Ethan know each other quite well.Derek looked over 
at the leader of the briton squad who was with them and he said i 
want you to contact the squads at the meeting place and inform them 
of the situation.The squad leader said he would do it as soon as the 
meeting was over but first he had some questions that needed 
answering.The squad leader looked at Wesley and he said i am familiar 
with a number of vampires by their reputations but i dont know of one 
named Spike.Faith said he is also known as William the Bloody and 
Drusilla is the love of his life.The squad leader gulped and turned 
ashen white because he knew of William the bloody's reputation and he 
had hoped never to run across him.Derek said please tell us what you 
know about this Spike and Drusilla.Wesley and the squad leader all 
gave a quick rundown on the information about Spike and Drusilla they 
knew.Derek looked at the squad leader and he said are you familiar 
with the instructions the Legacy Council made on what is to be done 
if Ethan Raynes is encountered by any legacy group.The squad leader 
said yes sir i am but the Legacy Council also want those items locked 
up so which is more important getting a hold of the items or 
capturing Ethan Raynes.Derek said the items must be the major 
priority but if we have the chance to capture Ethan as well do it.The 
squad leader said yes sir and then he got up from the table and went 
to contact the leaders of the other two 
squads. 

Right before Giles and the others reached the interstate Oz and 
Buffy pulled into a gas station while the others continued on down 
the road.Oz climbed out of his van and he stared filling up the van 
with gas while Buffy stood guard behind the van with one hand in her 
jacket ready to draw a gun at the slightest sign of attack.Ethan who 
was parked on the side of the road just close enough that he could 
see the 
van. 

Further down the road Gunn and the other pulled over onto the side 
of the road.Gunn and Giles jumped out of the moving truck and ran to 
the back of it.They opened up the back of the truck and slid the two 
ramps in place so that a vechicle could be driven up into the 
truck.Willow and Xander rode their motorcycles into the truck and 
parked them in the very front of the truck.A few minutes later Oz and 
Buffy caught up with the others and they both drove up into the 
moving truck.Giles and Gunn quickly slid the ramps into the moving 
truck and shut the back door.Ethan who had got stuck back at the gas 
station waiting for an opening in traffic before he could follow the 
van didnt see the Oz or Buffy ride into the back of the moving truck 
but he did see the moving truck and the montana pull off the side of 
the road and decided to follow 
them. 

Over two hours later they reached Los Angeles and Ethan pulled out 
his cellular phone and he dialed the number Mr.Sygasso had given him 
and the others if they needed to speak to him.When Jonas Kilrokan 
answered the phone Ethan said i need to speak to Mr.Sygasso i have 
important news to tell him.Jonas Kilrokan said Mr.Sygasso is resting 
right now so you will have to tell me the news and i will decide if 
it is important enough to disturb him.Ethan said the slayer and her 
groups packed up the books and items into a van and i have been 
following them since they left the estate.Jonas said where are they 
going.Ethan said i do not know but we have just entered Los Angeles 
and so far they do not look like they are going to stop in Los 
Angeles.Jonas said wait on the line i will go inform Mr.Sygasso and 
see how he wants you and the others to 
proceed. 

A minute later Mr.Sygasso picked up the phone and he said Ethan 
keep following them until they get to where ever your going but keep 
in constant touch so we can know in which direction that they are 
heading in.Ethan said sir do you want me to contact Darla and the 
others and Mr.Sygasso said no i will have Jonas contact them as well 
as arrange transportation for them so we can start moving the group 
we have put together to wherever the slayer and her group are going.
