Two minutes after takeoff Xena had the helicopter 400 feet above 
the top of the prison and she said Ephiny are you ready.Ephiny said 
yes we are ready but its Jeannette who is going to release the bombs 
this time i promised her she could while we were at the barge and the 
smart bombs were being attached to the undercarriage.Xena said 
Jeanette we are over the prison so release the bombs when you want 
to.Jeannette counted down from three and then she pulled the release 
lever.The three smart bombs fell from the undercarriage and about six 
seconds later they started up under their own power and headed for 
the homing devices which they were set to head for.Jeannette said 
they have been released and are heading for the prison.Xena said then 
it is time we joined the others who have left the island.Daedelous 
said why did they leave the island i thought they were going to join 
in on the attack.Xena said they are but they arent taking the chance 
of letting the hovercraft get damaged if the demon starts thrashing 
about from all the pain he will be feeling.Gabrielle said isnt there 
a chance that the pain will wake the demon up early.Xena said no i 
dont think so because the ptb would have alerted us to that 
possibility if it could happen.

Xena flew the helicopter out to where the hovercraft was and she 
had the helicopter hover about twenty meters behind the 
hovercraft.Over the radio Xena told Cordelia that the smart bombs 
should be exploding any time now.That very second two of the smart 
bombs exploded and everyone aboard the helicopter or hovercraft could 
see the debris shoot out into the air from out of the 
prison.Jeannette said Xena that was only two explosions what happened 
to the third smart bomb.Ephiny said it will take longer to reach the 
homing device its attracted to because its inside the prison itself 
and the others were in the courtyards.Xena said she is right but it 
should be reaching the homing device in less than thirty 
seconds.Fifteen seconds later there was another explosion and Xena 
said right on time and then she told Cordelia it was ok for them to 
start their attack.

Cordelia told Nick it was ok to attack and Nick said good and then 
he said Xander raise our weapons and Xander said already being 
done.The various weapons popped out of the hidden storage 
compartments and the metal sheild lowered in front of the glass.Nick 
said Amy do you have the coordinates for the prison and Amy said yes 
sir and i have already loaded them into the targeting computer so i 
wont have to aim any of the rockets myself.Nick looked at Joyce and 
he said Joyce do you have the laser aimed at the prison and Joyce 
said yes and i am ready to pull the trigger at your command.Nick said 
ok here is how we are going to do this and he said Cordelia relay 
this message to Xena in case she wants to join in our rocket barrage 
since i spotted several rocket launchers aboard that helicopter.Nick 
said first Joyce will fire the laser two times and then we will shoot 
off the rockets.Joyce said Nick i think we should fire the laser 
three times together and then shoot off the rockets.Nick said why and 
Joyce said because it takes about thirty seconds for the laser to 
repower after three shots and it wont power back up until all three 
blasts have been fired.Nick said ok we will fire the laser three 
times and then launch the rockets.Amy said why fire the laser first 
shouldnt we launch the rockets first.Nick said no we have to fire the 
laser first because we only have ten rockets and the laser blasts 
will create a bigger opening for them to hit the demon.Amy said 
actually we have thirty four rockets.Willow said Amy we only bought 
ten rockets so how can we have thirty four rockets.Amy said i dont 
rightly know but according to this consol we have twenty four rockets 
in the primary rocket feet and ten rockets in the secondary rocket 
feed.Nick said can it tell you what kind of rockets.A few seconds 
later Amy said twelve sams,six mavericks,and six sidewinders.Nick 
said Amy once the laser has fired for the third time i want you to 
fire the first twelve rockets at the prison then the laser will fire 
three more times followed by twelve more rockets,and so on until we 
are out of rockets.Amy said will do Nick and Cordelia have you passed 
the message onto Xena.Cordelia said i didnt bother i just patched 
them in so they could hear the plan from you personally.Cordelia said 
Xena agrees to join with us in the rocket salvo and she has a couple 
of rockets that will help to make sure that the demon dies.Nick said 
ask her what kind of rockets and a second later Cordelia said 
Harpoons and Killjoys.Nick said ok go ahead Joyce.Joyce pressed the 
firing button three times in rapid succession and three laser blasts 
shot out of the laser and headed straight toward the prison.Three 
seconds later Amy pressed the firing button for the rockets twelve 
times and six sams shot out of the rocket launchers and a following 
six rockets fired as soon as they were fed into the rocket launchers.

Onboard the helicopter Xena told Gabrielle to arm the rocket 
launchers as soon as the third laser blast shot out of the laser and 
Gabrielle did.Xena fired the rockets three seconds after the first 
salvo of rockets shot out of the hovercraft's rocket launcer.

Joyce was about to push the fire button three more times but Nick 
called out for to stop.Joyce looked at Nick and she said whats 
wrong.Nick said we need to give the rockets enough time to reach the 
demon and do as much damage to it as they can before we fire the 
laser again because light moves faster than rockets.

The first three laser blasts demolished the whole front section of 
the prison all the way to the first large hallway exposing two large 
sections of the serpent demon.When the first salvo of sixteen rockets 
hit the prison six of them hit the area that had been demolished by 
the laser and the others either hit the two courtyards,or the middle 
hallway which was missing a roof and most of the walls because of the 
third smart bomb.The demon shook in pain but didnt wake up.

After the rockets had hit Nick said ok Joyce go ahead and she fired 
the laser three more times.Amy didnt wait to be told and she pressed 
the buttons six times and then waited three seconds for six more 
rockets to be fed into the rocket launchers and then fired them.Xena 
fired another six rockets and the only two mini polaris missles that 
the helicopter was equipped with.Once the eighteen rockets and two 
missles had hit Nick gave Joyce the signal to fire the laser again 
and she did.After the third blast of the laser Nick said Amy fire all 
the rockets we have left that along with any rockets the helicopter 
still has should pretty much finish that demon off for good.

Thirty seconds after last four rockets were fired from the 
hovercraft there was a giant explosion on the island and Nick knew it 
wasnt just from the rockets they had done which meant the demon was 
dying and its energy was exploding out from what was left of its 
body.Nick said Willow i need full power to the engines we need to get 
as far from Alcatraz as we can.Willow pressed two buttons and she 
said you have full power and Nick said good and he turned the 
hovercraft and headed away from the island in a south direction 
heading back toward Sunnydale.

Onboard the helicopter Gabrielle noticed that the hovercraft was 
leaving and she said Xena the hovercraft is leaving its heading back 
toward Sunnydale.Xena said they have good reason to and we are 
joining them.Jeannette said Xena ma cherie what do you mean by 
that.Xena said take a look out the side window and you will see for 
yourself what i mean.Jeannette looked out the window and then she dos 
moi and said Xena get us away from the island asap.Xena said i am 
going to but everybody buckle up i am engaging jets in six 
seconds.Gabrielle looked at Jeannette and said Jeannette you just 
spoke russian i thought you prefered French.Jeannette said I do 
prefer to speak French but there is just no saying in French that 
stands up to the Russian phrase of Dos moi.

A minute after Xena turned on the helicopter's jets there was a 
loud explosion behind them and Gabrielle said do you think there will 
be anything left of the island.Xena said there will probably be an 
island left but it will have a big crater in the center.

Xena contacted the hovercraft via the radio and said she and the 
others were heading back to the hangar and she and Gabrielle would 
see them in Sunnydale in a day or two.

When the hovercraft reached the warehouse Nick said Willow how are 
we supposed to get the hovercraft back up to the warehouse.Willow 
said with the remote control for the platform of course.Giles said 
Willow if we had a remote control for the platform inside the 
hovercraft why did you run out onto the deck to press the button to 
lower the hovercraft.Willow said because the remote will only rise 
the platform it wont lower it.

Once the hovercraft was back up in the warehouse Xander said i for 
one am glad that this night is over.Giles said Xander we are not 
finised yet we had to unload all the gear from the hovercraft,load it 
back into the humvee,montana,and landrover,and then head back to 
sunnydale.Faith said well you guys have fun me and Nick need to be 
running along now.Giles said hey Nick didnt you say you wanted to 
have some of the extra gear we have.Nick said you mean i can really 
have some of it and Giles said you can have all the extra gear we 
have if you like.Faith said Nick i want to go home,get a nice hot 
shower,and go to bed.Nick said dont worry Faith we wont be long if 
you will help me.Joyce looked at Cassandra and the other immortals 
and she said the same offer goes for all of you.Cassandra said well i 
cant think of why we will need most of what you have but we will take 
some of it.Nick Wolfe said especially the kevlar armored longcoats 
they will definitely come in handy to us.Amanda said i would like a 
couple of the tebyr combos and some blacksuits.Nick Wolfe said Amanda 
there is no way i am going to let you have those things you are 
retired and you are going to stay retired do i make myself 
clear.Willow looked at Cassandra and she said what are they talking 
about.Cassandra said Amanda is supposedly a retired cat burgular who 
specializes in rare art and gems that are guarded by the best 
security systems out there.Rebecca smiled and she said well thats too 
bad Amanda but i think i will take a couple mementos of this 
trip.Amanda said mother your not and Rebecca said just because your 
retired doesnt mean i am.Nick looked at Rebecca and he said Amanda 
what is she talking about.Amanda said Nick when i first met Rebecca 
all i was was a cutpurse who do you think taught me how to do 
everything i can.Nick looked at Rebecca and said Rebecca you cant 
have any of the stuff either.Rebecca said Nick you are Amanda's 
boyfriend not mine so you dont have any say in my life.Methos walked 
up to Nick and said here is some good advice boy let Rebecca have the 
gear she wants you are no match for her and anyway you have your 
hands with Amanda who by the way is no where in sight.Nick whirled 
around and he yelled out Amanda's name.Nick was almost to the back 
room where all the gear was when Amanda walked out of it and she said 
Nick i am just helping Buffy and the others out by carrying some of 
their gear to their vechicles.Nick said ok but i am going to check 
your bags before we head back to Paris in a couple days because there 
is no way i am letting you take that kind of stuff with us.Amanda 
said Nick there is one little bit of news that i have been meaning to 
tell you but i have been putting it off.Nick said whats this little 
tidbit of news.Amanda said i am going to stay in Sunnydale for at 
least a year or two and help train Buffy and Willow.Nick said Amanda 
we cant stay here we have a job back in Paris.Amanda said i already 
sent interpol my resignation and i have got a friend of Joe's to 
manage the club for me.Nick said Amanda how could you make a decision 
like this without even consulting with me.Amanda said Nick i love you 
with all my heart but both Willow and Buffy are going to need to 
recieve the best training they can and that will require not only 
Rebecca and Ramirez but me,Connor,Duncan,Richie,Cassandra,and Methos 
as well.Nick said hey isnt there anything i can teach them.Amanda 
said yes you could teach them your respect for the law among other 
things but it isnt my place to make that decision for you.Nick said i 
will think on it and Amanda said ok and now if you will excuse me i 
need to take this stuff out to one of the vechicles Buffy and the 
others came in.

When Amanda got outside the hovercraft she saw Rebecca putting some 
stuff into one of the jeeps and she walked over to the Landrover 
which was parked next to the jeep.Rebecca walked up to Amanda and she 
said dont worry daughter i got both of us three blacksuits and two 
tebyr combos.Amanda said thanks mom and by the way i got these and 
she pulled the diamond and ruby which she had removed from the laser 
before going to help the others get some of the gear.Rebecca said how 
did you get those and Amanda said it was quite easy after i read the 
pamplet for the lasers control in fact i am surprised you didnt try 
to get them for yourself.Rebecca said i would have but i thought they 
were in the middle of the laser and unreachable.Amanda passed them to 
Rebecca and said hold onto them i dont want Nick catching me with 
them.
