Alan, I am once again impressed. You're really stacking the deck against our heroine, ain't you? Between St. Clair's plans to 'retrain' Buffy(you just know that's gonna go in the toilet!), to Giles, Wes and Cordy dealing with the Council, from Willow's confrontation with her parents to Xander's condition and the Mayor's return. I can't wait to see which direction you take with this.
