Re: OT: News

I saw these statements earlier and I'm sure that he doesn't want any crossovers but can he really stop them? After all, both Buffy and Angel are still produced by Fox, not by Warner Brothers. All the WB has are the rights to show Angel but I doubt they have any creative input whatsoever. Just a thought.

WB CHIEF DEFINITELY KILLS "BUFFY"/"ANGEL" CROSSOVERS

Jordan Levin, during the Television Critics Association press tour, said
flatly that there will be no crossovers, which Joss Whedon and Marti
Noxon had said was likely as far back as May. Levin added some hogwash
about "Angel" needing to develop its own identity, but the reason is
obviously R*E*V*E*N*G*E. Why Levin wants to cause problems with Joss
when he's just renewed "Angel" is unknown, but inside sources (okay,
it's just me, lying) say not to rule out the possibility that Levin is
really, really stupid.

So, basically, when Buffy comes back from the dead, Angel won't go see
her. And you think you have trouble getting your ex to stay friends.
