About three o'clock Northwestern flight 322 landed at Los Angeles 
international airport.Buffy,Willow,and Joyce who were returning from 
St.Louis where they had gone to several auctions and an estate sale 
before taking part at an art convention on behalf of the gallery 
waited until the disembarking lined thinned out before getting up 
from their seats.

After getting off the plane Joyce suggested that they go get their 
swords cleared through airport security while she went and got their 
luggage.Buffy said ok but lets meet in front of the coke machine that 
i got a coke from when we got here six days ago.Joyce said ok and 
then the three of them split up and headed into two different 
directions.It took several minutes for Buffy and Willow to clear 
their swords through airport security even though they had papers 
from the gallery which said that they were bonded and worked for the 
gallery which they did now a days at least part time.Joyce had got 
the papers for them after Connor and Duncan had mentioned that that 
was the easiest and most legitimate way for immortals to get swords 
and other medievel weapons through customs and airport security.

When Buffy and Willow got to the coke machine Joyce was waiting for 
them and she had a young man with a dolly that had their luggage on 
it.Joyce looked at her watch as they were walking out to the parking 
lot and she said its about three thirty do you two want to head home 
or do you feel like spending the night here.Buffy said well i am 
pretty tired and i dont know if i feel up to the long ride home 
especially after what we went through at that art convention.Joyce 
said i know what you mean that was nothing like i was told it was to 
be and i am going to give John Stykes a piece of my mind when we get 
back to Sunnydale.Willow said well i guess we can stay in Los Angeles 
tonight and tommorrow morning we can head to Sunnydale.Joyce said ok 
its decided we will stay in town tonight and anyway Giles and the 
others are expecting us to get back until tommorrow sometime.Buffy 
said ok but where are we going to spend the night.Joyce said how 
about the Sheraton Arms its close to the airport and it has several 
nice restraunts close by as well.Willow said ok lets go.

As soon as the luggage was loaded into the trunk of Joyce's car they 
climbed into the car and headed for the Sheraton Arms.As they were 
pulling up to the Sheraton Arms Buffy said lets take the car up to 
the door and let someone park the car for us.Joyce looked over at 
Buffy and she said thats a good idea i dont feel like lugging my 
suitcase all way from whatever parking space i can find to park my 
car.

Joyce pulled her car up to the front doors and one of the motel's 
staff who parked cars ran up and opened the door for her.Joyce 
climbed out of the car and the man asked if they had any luggage in 
the trunk and Joyce said yes three suitcases.The man looked over 
toward the front doors and he whistled and then signalled for a 
bellboy and a bellboy ran up to the car with a luggage rack.Joyce 
pushed a button on her car's keychain and the trunk popped open right 
as they bellboy reached the car.Willow and Buffy got out of the car 
and they walked to the trunk as well and they got their briefcases 
out of the trunk.Joyce saw this and after clearing her throat to get 
their attention she said i dont really think that you will be needing 
those so leave them in the trunk.Buffy said yes ma'am and they put 
their briefcases back in the trunk.Buffy was about to shut the trunk 
when Joyce said dont forget to get your other cases.Buffy stopped the 
trunk lid from shutting and she opened it up and got her and Willow's 
swordcases which only contained two swords one katana and wooden 
kendo each the others were back in Sunnydale in their bedroom.

When they got up to the check in booth Joyce pulled out a credit 
cardd and she said we would like to get two rooms side by side if 
possible.The lady behind the booth said hold on please let me see if 
we have any.After several minutes the lady said i am afraid we dont 
have any two rooms side by side that are available but we do have two 
rooms across the hall from each other that are available.Joyce said 
we will take them and the lady said very good and then she picked up 
Joyce's credit card.A second after looking at the credit card the 
lady said I'm sorry but the Sheraton Arms doesnt except this 
particular credit card do you have another you can use.Joyce thought 
a moment and she knew she had a lot on her corporate visa which she 
had used in St.Louis and she couldnt really use it here so she looked 
at Buffy and she said do you have your credit cards with you.Buffy 
said no i left them in my jewelry box at home because you told me i 
wouldnt need them and you and Willow both dont want me to use 
them.Willow pulled out her wallet and she handed the lady her credit 
card before looking at Buffy.Willow said Buffy you good and well know 
the reasons me and your mom dont want you to use your credit cards 
but if you have forgotten let me remind you that you bought me a 
brand new car with a credit card sending your credit rating and 
report sky high.The lady said here you go and she handed Willow her 
credit card back and a piece of paper she needed to sign which she 
did.
