Thanks For the Feedback

Thanks to everyone that has given me feedback on my snippet *hugs* It was a
much larger response than I had ever hoped for.
A few of you asked for another snippet or even a complete fic. I will try to
do another snippet but as some of you know muses can be elusive at best -
mine seems to go into hibernation for 11 months of the year LOL.
Unfortunately though, until I can discipline myself enough to write a fic
from beginning to end without losing interest i'll be sticking to snippets.
If any of you can suggest ways for me to improve my writing (things i'm
doing wrong, not describing enough of etc) I would really appreciate it.

Again thanks for the feedback.
Cheryl

Subject: [Hand_of_Chaos] My Second Attempt At A Snippet

Title: Untitled
Author: Cheryl
Email: CherylSHill@xxxxxxx
Rating: PG-13 (probably lower)
Disclaimer: All characters associated with BtVS belong to Joss
Whedon, Mutant Enemy etc
Summary: Buffy watches (get your minds out of the gutter it's not
what you're thinking <G>).
Spoilers: To be safe, anything that involves Tara is game.
Feedback: Would be nice, any comments/criticisms to the email addy
above.

Buffy sat perfectly still in her hiding place on the rocky outcrop.
She could see Willow and Tara in the clearing below. They sat crossed
legged on opposite sides of a large wood fire. Both wore flowing
green dresses and held their hands towards the fire, a small object
nestled in each.
She could hear Willow mumbling but couldn't make out the words.
Before long Tara joined in, both their voices seemed to merge into
one as their chanting grew louder.
Buffy suddenly realised why the words didn't make sense, her two
friends were chanting in a foreign language. It could have been any
language but Buffy was sure it was Latin. The favoured language for
all things old. Prophecies, spells they were all the same to her. One
big mass of words that didn't make sense.
Willow understood them though, Buffy felt herself brim with pride at
her friends knowledge. Caught up in her own thoughts she hadn't
noticed that the two Wicca's were now standing and had started to
circle slowly round the fire.
She watched intently as Willow raised her left hand into the air, the
air around her hand glowed with a bright white light. As the light
faded she threw the small object into the fire. Tara then raised her
left hand and the same light appeared, again when the light vanished
she threw her object into the fire. Both Willow and Tara repeated the
move with their right hands, Willow leading, this time the light was
a deep red. When all of the objects were in the flames the voices of
the two Wicca's rose to almost a shout before quieting to a whisper.
As their voices ceased Buffy watched the flames. Pictures began to
form on both sides of the fire. Each Wicca saw the picture meant for
them but from Buffys vantage point she saw both. She looked at Tara's
side of the flames and saw a picture of Willow. Buffy looked at
Willows side of the flames and gasped. The image on Willows side of
the flames was her own.

The End
*****************************
Hopefully that wasn't too jumbled. I couldn't get the last few lines
right so if I've completely confused you the reflection that Willow
and Buffy saw in the flames was Buffys.
