Intentions and Amanda Shelton belongs to their respective owners, whoever 
they are.

Rating: For now PG-13 to R depending on your point of view.

Summary: Two of Buffy?s cousins visit her family and each has their own 
ideas concerning Buffy?s close friendships, resulting in near chaos as the 
three identical cousins run rampant throughout Sunnydale.

Author?s Note: This is in response to my own challenge issued on the Buffy 
wants Willow list. Faith redeemed herself and is still part of the Scoobies 
in my story.

Phone Calls Are Prophecy Too, Right?

Willow Rosenberg just left her last class for the day and quickly made her 
way to her dorm room. She couldn?t wait to tell Buffy about her dreaded 
Drama assignment. Instead she found her room-mate laying face down on her 
bed clutching her pillow on top of her head.

?Buffy?? Willow asked hesitantly.

?Willow,? Buffy replied her voice muffled by her pillow, ?please you?ve 
gotta help me!?

?What?s up?? Willow asked sitting herself beside her friend on her bed.

?I just got a call from my mom my cousins are coming to visit.?

?Isn?t that a good thing?? Willow asked thoroughly confused.

?It would be if Kathryn wasn?t coming.?

?Why?s that??

?Think bad evil Faith, double the skank and quadruple the ego.?

?Oh...? Willow said remembering the time before Faith redeemed herself.

?Yeah.?

?Wait you said cousins so who else is coming??

?Amanda, now her I like, last I saw her she was learning how to cook for her 
mother?s Diner, my mom told me that she finally learned and got a wicked 
cool job at one of the most expensive restaurants in New York.?

?That?s it??

?Yep,? Buffy answered.

?Well look at the bright side it?s only two people, imagine if it was a 
family reunion.?

?Oh scary,? Buffy said shuddering for effect.

Suddenly sitting up Buffy gave Willow a hug. Not knowing why she couldn?t 
resist the urge and not caring she reveled in the closeness of her and 
Willows? friendship, unable to face why she felt like something was missing. 
Letting go before the hug got awkward, Buffy stood and turned to Willow.

?Thanks Wills.?

?Sure thing Buff.?

Two days later Buffs? cousins were disembarking from their plane and soon 
spotted Joyce waiting for them. The two had stopped talking to each other 
after an argument that neither wanted to remember, not to mention that they 
quickly discovered they had almost nothing in common.

?Well girls it?s great having you both here, I?m sorry Buffy couldn?t be 
here to meet you, but she and her friends are coming over as soon as they 
finish their last class.?

?Don?t worry Aunt Joyce,? Kathryn said, ?I can?t wait to meet them.?

Amanda rolled her eyes at her cousins manipulation of their aunt, ?You know 
we should go get some supplies. I?ve been wanting to try some of my new 
recipes and I think it would be nice to do something for you guys while I?m 
here.?

?That sounds wonderful, but a word of warning, be prepared to make double, 
Xander alone can eat for two.?

That afternoon the Scooby Gang armed with Buffys? words of caution prepared 
to meet her cousins, unfortunately they were grossly unprepared to see that 
all three were identical in everything except hairstyle, hair color, and 
clothes.

?Hey Buff we didn?t know you and your cousins were gonna pull a Patty Duke 
on us,? Xander quipped.

?Damn B, don?t tell me you didn?t know,? Faith said eyeing Kathryn sizing 
her up, who was eyeing the group with the look of a predator.

Looking at her friends she shrugged somewhat uncomfortable by the attention, 
?The last time we saw each other we were ten.?

?Wow genetics must really be strong in your family,? Willow say, her brain 
still processing what her eye?s were seeing.

?Well um, hi I?m Amanda,? Amanda began not really knowing what to do.

?Oh geez I?m sorry Amanda, Kathryn, this is Xander, Anya, Faith, and 
Willow,? turning back to her cousins she continued the introductions, ?and 
as you know Amanda and Kathryn.?

After dinner the gang made their excuses and headed out for patrol. Buffy 
was quiet keeping her head down.

?Well I think that everything went um..? Willow began.

?Bad to worse,? Anya supplied.

Buffy winced.

?Well,? Willow said looking at the ex-demon reproachfully.

?I hate to agree with Anya on anything, but she?s right Will,? Faith said 
grimacing.

?Well we can?t say we weren?t prepared,? Willow defended.

?Not totally, but hey bright side,? Xander pleaded, ?anyone please??

?Could have been worse,? Willow said noticing Buffys? silence.

?How?? Xander asked.

?Skanky ho could have moved to Sunnyhell instead of B?? Faith supplied.

?Okay alot worse,? Willow amended, ?come on Buffy, please say something.?

Buffy shook her head, face flamed with embarrassment.

?Well at least this proves that the Powers made the right choice,? Faith 
said.

?Yeah,? Anya said surprising everyone, ?just imagine Kathryn as the Slayer, 
she wouldn?t stake em, she?d hump em.?

Snickering Buffy agreed with Anya?s assessment.

?Thanks guys,? Buffy said, ?and can I say that I?m ?so? sorry for that.?

?Hey Buffster, we?ve gone up against the Master, and others right there with 
you,? Xander started.

?But after this I?d rather face them all again at the same time,? Faith 
finished.

?It wasn?t that bad.? Willow said.

?Hello,? Faith said, ?trust me it was bad.?

?I thought it was funny when you and Kathryn started the eating thing,? Anya 
said, ?it was very entertaining.?

?Entertaining wasn?t the word I had for it,? Buffy said thinking back to the 
sensual cat and mouse game the two had started during dinner.

?Hey Will,? Xander said noticing Willows? blush, ?what did you think of 
tonights entertainment??

?Thinking would um, require thinking right?? she said without thinking.

?Huh,? Xander said.

They all turned to look at her.

?Kidding, geez,? she had known it was Kathryn but had easily pictured Buffy 
in her place, to say that she was frustrated was putting it mildly, 
?actually I was thinking that um well I was glad that no one else noticed, 
who knows how Giles and your mom would have reacted.?

?Me too,? Buffy said as they continued with patrol.

Since the next day was Saturday, Willow found herself with Buffy back at the 
Summers? home. She looked none to worse for wear considering that her 
dreams were filled with images of Buffys? face in that sensual seductive 
game that Kathryn had done during dinner yesterday. Sitting next to Faith 
who was directly across form Kathryn, she couldn?t help but blush profusely 
when she realized what they had been doing. Whether Kathryn too busy with 
Faith to notice she didn?t know.

?Hello,? a familiar yet distinctive voice called out from the stairs after 
Buffy had disappeared into the kitchen with her mother and one of her 
cousins.

?Hello, um Kathryn, right?? Willow blushed her thoughts still on her dreams.

?Yes,? Kathryn smiled, while she had had fun with the dark haired girl, 
Faith last night, she didn?t plan on following through with her fun with 
that friend of her cousins?.

No, she planned on something decidedly much easier to play with during her 
stay here. This one would do just fine. Buffy was lucky she had fiends, 
loyal by the looks of them and she could admit that she was jealous of her 
Californian cousin. While playing with Faith she had noticed the delectable 
red-heads? eyes cloud with lust, mingled with love. Willow, would prove to 
be just the distraction Kathryn needed while in this one Starbuck town. And 
while she was at it she would both have the love Buffy didn?t even know was 
within her grasp and in the end leave her mark on the soon-to-be not so 
innocent red-head, one that even that blind fool Buffy, the genuine miss 
perfect herself wouldn?t miss.

The few minutes of silence un-nerved her and Willow was beginning to feel 
very uncomfortable with Kathryn?s eyes on her.

?Willow, right??

?EEP!? ?Yeah, that?s me,? Willow said nervously looking everywhere but at 
Kathryn praying that Buffy would appear.

?Innocence on this girl was actually cute,? Kathryn mused her eyes roaming 
freely over Willow?s body taking in her curves as she moved and sat down on 
the couch, ?Sit with me,? she coaxed patting the seat next to her.

?Um, sure,? Willow said nervously sitting at the far end of the couch hands 
folded on her lap.

Smiling at this turn of events, Kathryn scooted closer and placed her hand 
on top of Willows?.

Gulp!

?I was thinking,? Kathryn said casually, ?since Amanda and Buffy were going 
to spend the rest of the day with Dawn as the zoo and museum, maybe you 
could show me around Sunnydale.?

?Okay nice and safe but, ?There?s not much to see here.?

?Well maybe later tonight you can hang with me at the Bronze, that?s the 
club in town right? I heard Dawn tell Amanda about it.?

?Yeah, it?s the only one in town.?

?So you?ll go with me??

?I?m sure Buffy and Amanda would go with you,? Willow said her attention 
riveted on Kathryn?s hand stroking hers? slowly.

?I don?t think Buffy or Amanda like me much, ? she said softly stopping her 
ministrations. So that Willow would look up to her eyes and see the hurt in 
her eyes.

?Oh,? Willow thought sadly, ?I?m sure they don?t.?

?Soft heart,? Kathryn looked away so Willow wouldn?t see her calculating 
eyes flash in triumph.

?It?d not just about this visit we were young and ever since,? she shrugged.

?What happened?? Willow said soothingly her earlier discomfort forgotten, 
she placed her hand on Kathryn?s shoulder.

?We were in summer camp together, the three of us, and Buffy had this 
boyfriend, actually it was just a boy that said he thought she looked nice,? 
she chuckled since ten there was always something that made them look alike, 
now look at them different wardrobes and hair colors they really could be 
twins.

?Anyway,? she continued, ?while Buffy and Amanda were off at Crafts he 
approached me, he knew my name since we all had our names on our shirts at 
camp. He kissed me, and said that he only told Buffy stuff because she 
always followed him. Later they found out and Buffy said that it was my 
fault, she hated me , and that the only way for anyone to choose me was to 
take what isn?t mine, because no one could love me,? her voice was laced 
with real hurt.

Thinking about it hurt, it was the last time she ever let anyone hurt her 
and she set out to prove that, yes she would be loved, no matter what Buffy 
or Daddy said. It was the only thing that would still make her cry, is she 
ever thought about it, which she spent the rest of the life trying to forget 
with one project or another.

?Damn,? she thought, ? I didn?t mean to bring that out.?

?I?ll go with you,? Willow said softly.

Shutting herself off and leaving her real tears were they were, she turned 
back to Willow and said,? thank you, but I?d rather it wasn?t out of pity.?

Bringing her other hand up to brush away the trail of tears Willow said, 
?I?ve been there, done that, so no this isn?t about pity, I?d like to go 
with you.?

Tears gone and still wiping away any remanents of them away Willow smiled 
shyly at Kathryn who smiled back.

And that?s how Buffy and Amanda found them.

?Willow?? Buffy said questioningly.

?Buffy, Amanda,? Kathryn said her voice neutral.

?Are you okay?? Amanda said

Not knowing who she meant, and not wanting to answer Willow was glad Kathryn 
answered.

?Just a little homesickness,? she lied easily, ?Willow?s been gracious 
enough to offer to give me the grand tour and spend some time with me.?

?But Wills,? Buffy said, ?I thought you were gonna stay with me.?

Amanda eyed her cousin suspiciously, seeing this Willow jumped to the wrong 
conclusion.

?I did kina promise,? she said, ?since you two were going to be with Dawn, 
doing stuff I thought you wouldn?t mind.?

?Okay Wills,? Buffy relented feeling a bit hurt, and slightly jealous, ?I?ll 
see you tonight right??

?Sure, Kathryn and I were going to the Bronze too, you?re coming aren?t you 
Amanda?? Willow asked.

?Okay,? Amanda said brightly deciding that keep an eye on Kathryn.

Jealousy reared its head again at Willows? casual mention of plans with 
Kathryn, Buffy couldn?t understand why she was feeling jealous, after all 
she?d be alright with Kathryn for a few hours, right?
