Re: OT: Early Buffy Eps.
Alex,
AAAAARGH!!!!!! Why does nobody tell me these things?? Well, you did, I
just wish I'd known sooner.
Yes, "Anne", which I've never seen and have now missed again, is the
opener to Season 3. Running away to LA was Buffy's answer to her
end-of-season 2 crises (Mom found out she was a Slayer, Mom threw her
out of the house, she was expelled from school, the police wanted her
for a murder investigation, Willow and others were injured, she had to
send Angel to hell even though he got his soul back). All of these
issues will be dealt with in upcoming S3 episodes, beginning with "Dead
Man's Party" next week. And "Faith, Hope, and Trick", the week after
that, introduces several new characters, including a certain brunette
Slayer.
So the schedule is as follows:
One weekend time period on Fox (presumably this will be the first of the
two time-slots, although it varies by channel): repeats starting from
the beginning. "Welcome to the Hellmouth" this weekend, "The Harvest"
next. One episode a week.
Another weekend time period on Fox: repeats starting from the start of
Season 3. "Anne" this weekend, "Dead Man's Party" next weekend. One
episode a week.
Monday-Friday, 4 pm Eastern and Pacific on FX: A repeat of the previous
weekday's episode that aired at 7 pm ET/PT. Today it's "Never Kill a
Boy on the First Date". 5 episodes a week.
Monday-Friday, 7 pm Eastern/Pacific on FX: repeats starting from the
beginning, reshown the next weekday at 4pm, as mentioned above. Today,
"The Pack", which is the 6th episode of season 1, as the first five were
shown last week.
Tuesdays, 8 pm Eastern/Pacific on UPN. New season 6 episodes, starting
tomorrow with "Bargaining". Yippeee!
Hope this clears everything up. Also hope I haven't left anything out.
Best,
Dan
