Methinks that the episode that you saw was the one
that took place right after the season 2 finale, when
Buffy sent Angel to Hell. She ran away from home, and
started going by the name Anne while working in a
diner in LA, I believe. I hope that someone will
correct me if I'm wrong... I hate it when I make
myself look like an idiot :)
