Sadly, I know all too well about procrastination--why do you think it's
been a week since I got my new moderator status and I still haven't done
anything about starting contests, and calling for more fic and more fb
("More fic! More fb! C'mon, people!"--there, that wasn't so hard
<g>), and all the other responsible things I should be doing? Not to
mention my own "well, they sound great in my head" fics that are going
unwritten.

But it is good to see that my kvetching has paid off. BTW, I just
noticed that Greenberg didn't apparently tell Jane Espenson about his
plans for Hal Jordan of the Justice League--erm, Halfrek the Justice
Demon.

Because in "Doublemeat Palace", when H.A.L. frek first appears ("I serve
justice, Dave." "Open the pod bay doors, please, H.A.L. H.A.L., I WISH
you would open the pod bay doors."), she says things like "cower,
masculine one!" and "half the time I don't know if I'm maiming the right
guy." So, according to Jane E., Hallie certainly sounds like she's been
taking care of business with punishing evil men, just as Anyanka used to
do, and Drew never sent her the memo about his plot twist. Oh, well,
continuity, who needs it? **Sigh**

Anyway, glad to help in whatever way I can, hope to see you jabbering
with the rest of us on JAABAW, and looking forward to your further fics.

PS--The best excuse I came up with for the back massager is that Willow
figured Buffy, by not even really asking her about Tara, was insisting
on Willow making it up with Tara--and, in service of that, Willow
deliberately didn't give Buffy a great gift because she thought Tara
might see her doting on Buffy and get the "wrong" (i.e., right) idea.
Ah, 'shipper contortions, great for working out the kinks in your back.
