Thanks for the congrats, and that's just how it was. One moment I was
nagging listdad for more communication, the next moment he was dropping
it in my lap and heading off for parts unknown.

Gee, now that I think of it, I kind of feel like Buffy :) And I'm madly
in love with the redhead, so that's two things. (OTOH, I'm pretty sure
I wouldn't look good in a leopard top and a miniskirt.)

But really, that sword came up to tap me on the shoulder so quick, I
didn't even have time to duck :)

(Yeah, I should "thwap" the Panda, but that RL demon is beating her so
hard, it would just be cruel to join in)

Indeed I was upset about Willow being left alone in the kitchen.

The sad thing is, this ep could have been fixed up nicely with just a
few things.

Buffy: Hey, Will, you okay?
Willow: Oh, uh, sure. It just hit me hard, y'know? But I'm fine. Go
get the bad guys.
Buffy: Are you sure?
Willow: Uh-huh.

SAM enters.

Sam: Willow, can I--
Willow: Sure, sure. I'm, uh, sorry I got so upset
Sam: No, I, etc. etc,

And how about this:

Riley (cautious): I, uh, heard. About your mom.
Buffy: Oh.
Riley: I'm sorry you had to--
Buffy: I, I'd rather not talk about it. But thanks.

And this:

Riley: Say, where's Giles?
Buffy: In England. Anya runs the store now.

What's that, 30 seconds of screen time? **rolls eyes**

BTW, it's now been six eps since anybody even MENTIONED Giles. New
viewers are probably wondering who's that English guy who says
"Previously?" every week.
