Re: OT (on some lists): My review of "Hell's Bells"

Apparently there was a Giles mention, in the script, but it was cut for
time. (Unfortunate choice, that). Apparently, RRK pulled a Marti, and
the script is the longest thing seen since "Surprise"--would have taken
about 75-80 minutes to film. I'm told we can expect it up on Psyche
either tomorrow night or Saturday, so we can hunt for other deleted
goodies then.

But he really should have been there--I wish they could have squeezed
one more ep out of ASH. Of the original three, Xander is the one whom
Giles has the purely parental relationship with (Xander defers to his
authority in ways Buffy never does, doesn't make "bondage fun" jokes,
and Giles doesn't ogle him like he sometimes does Willow)--and Xander's
the one who most NEEDS him to be a father substitute. **sigh**

Dan

(missing the G-Man--c'mon, Tony, aren't you sick of your kids by now?
Fulltime in Season 7!)
