Back at the motel Angel was approaching his motel room when he saw 
that the door was slightly ajar.Angel ran to the door but he stopped 
before entering it and just listened.After not hearing anything he 
slipped inside and he started searching the motel room bit by 
bit.Angel saw that the balcony door was open and he went to shut it 
before moving on to check the bedroom.Angel closed the door and made 
sure to lock it and then he headed for the bedroom.As he stepped into 
the bedroom he saw that the dresser drawers were all pulled out 
slightly and that the bed had been searched because the matress was 
on the floor.Angel was wondering who could have done it and then he 
headed for the bathroom.Angel stopped instantly upon coming in sight 
of the bathroom door.A large knife was stuck in the bathroom door 
pinning a piece of paper to it.The note said you and your friends 
leave Toronto before dusk tommorrow or you are all dead and it was 
unsigned.Angel walked over to the phone to call Cordelia and have her 
and the others head back to the motel when he noticed a suitcase 
sticking halfway out from under the bed.Angel pulled it the rest of 
the way out and to his surprise it was unzipped.Angel threw back the 
lid and he instantly knew he and the others had to take the warning 
seriously because his pistol,double shoulder holster,and kevlar 
longcoat were all gone.Angel decided to use his cellular phone so 
that no one could listen to the conversation.Angel pulled it out and 
he dialed the number for Cordelia's cellular phone.

Cordelia and the others were about halfway to the entrance and had 
been standing in line for about fifteen minutes when her cellular 
phone rang.Cordelia pulled it out and she said i bet that its 
Angel.Faith said thats a safe bet since only he and us know the 
number to your cellular phone and are in range to call you.Cordelia 
flipped the cellular phone and said hello Cordelia speaking.Cordelia 
listened to Angel for a few seconds and then she yelled what.Cordelia 
turned to face the others who had turned to look at her.Cordelia said 
Angel we will be there as soon as we can and then she turned off the 
phone.Cordelia said come on and she started walking back toward the 
parking lot.

Buffy,Willow,and Faith ran to catch up with Cordelia.Faith said 
Cordelia why do we have to go back to the motel now.Cordelia said 
Angel's motel room was broken into and a message telling us to get 
out of Toronto by sundown tommorrow or were dead was left.Buffy said 
damn this is the last thing we need especially since we cant leave 
until we meet with the council of elders.Faith said whats there to 
worry about we have our gear and together we should be able to handle 
any group that comes against us.Cordelia said uh guys i forgot to 
tell you that Angel's gear was taken.Willow yelled come on we have to 
check our motel rooms.They ran at a dead run to the area of the 
parking lot that they had parked Cordelia's car and the motorcycle.
Willow quickly lowered the barrier and then they either climbed onto 
the motorcycle or into the car.

Ten minutes later they pulled into the parking garage and they 
parked in parking spaces right alongside the motorcycle they were 
going to give to Gunn.Faith asked Willow to put a barrier around the 
vechicles so that no one could mess with them.Cordelia quickly agreed 
with Faith and Willow did it as quickly as she could.When they were 
riding up in the elevator to the floor that had a connection to the 
motel Buffy said when we get out we split up and head for each of our 
rooms.Willow said after we check our rooms lets meet at Angel's room 
and we can decide on what to do from there.A few seconds later they 
heard a chime signalling the doors were about to open.Faith was the 
first one out of the motel and she took off like a shot.Buffy,Willow,
and Cordelia were right behind her and they split up as they got near 
their motel rooms.

As Faith entered her motel room she instantly knew something was 
wrong because she felt a breeze and the air conditioner wasnt 
on.Faith ran into the bedroom and over to a large dresser 
cabinet.Faith pulled it away from the wall and she heard a thud sound 
as she pulled it away from the wall.Faith walked around to the side 
of the cabinet and she reached in behind it.Faith pulled out the case 
which contained her sword and knives.Faith walked over to the bed and 
she placed the case on top of it.Faith opened up the case to make 
sure everything was in it.After seeing that it was she turned to look 
at the video cabinet.Faith saw that the cabinet doors right under the 
tv were open.Faith went over to it and she saw that her 9mm pistols 
and the case the tranquilizer pistol had been in were gone.Faith 
walked over to the closet and it only took a moment for her to 
realize that her kevlar longcoat was also gone.

Cordelia carefully entered her motel room listening for the 
slightest sound and she looked everywhere including up at the ceiling 
so that there was no chance of missing anyone.After checking the 
whole motel room for anyone she went to see if anything was 
missing.Cordelia was glad to see that her passport was still there 
although it was on top of the dresser and she had hid it in a drawer 
among some clothes.Cordelia opened up another drawer and after 
digging through it she realized that the pistol Angel had given to 
her was gone.Cordelia walked over to the closet and after opening up 
her suitcase she opened the section in which she stored her makeup 
and jewelry.Cordelia dug into the bottom and she pulled out her 
whiplash.Cordelia stood up and she saw that there was an opening in 
the clothes she had hung up and she could tell her longcoat was gone.

Buffy and Willow entered their room together but they split up once 
out of the small hallway.Buffy headed for the closet where they had 
hid their swords and pistols.Willow ran over to the mini bar and she 
opened up the small refrigerator to check to see if the Barrabonds 
were still there.The moment Buffy reached the closet door she knew 
that their guns were gone because the clothes they had been hid among 
were scattered around the closet floor.A second later Buffy screamed 
in fury after seeing the two cases they carried their swords in with 
the lids open.Buffy ran to them and she saw that their swords were 
also gone.A few seconds later Willow walked into the closet and she 
said Buffy why did you scream.Buffy looked at Willow and she said not 
only did the asshole take our guns but our swords as well.Willow 
yelled what and her eyes started glowing because she was furious as 
well.Buffy said i want our swords back and Willow said so do i and we 
can get them back.Buffy looked at Willow and she said how are we 
supposed to get them back when we dont even know who took them.Willow 
said right after our teachers left i placed tracker spells on all of 
our swords and i can pinpoint their location by just concentrating.
Buffy said before we can go get our swords we need to get reequipped.
Willow said well whoever it was didnt find the barrabonds so we can 
easily afford it.Buffy said come on help me pack up our stuff and 
then we can head to Angel's motel room.Willow said why do we need to 
pack up our stuff.Buffy said because we arent safe here the robbery 
proves that.Willow and Buffy quickly packed up their stuff making 
sure to get everything of theirs so they wouldnt have to come back.

When Buffy knocked on the door to Angel's room Angel opened it.As 
Buffy and Willow walked into his room carrying their suitcases and 
stuff they saw that Cordelia and Faith were sitting down in chairs.
Cordelia said hey why did you two bring your suitcases and stuff with 
you.Willow said because the robbery of our stuff has proven that we 
arent safe here anymore.Angel said your right we arent safe here but 
i hate to say that i dont know of any place up here that we will be 
safe.Buffy said i thought about that while me and Willow were packing 
and i have come up with a couple safe places but we will have to 
split up.Faith said where are these safe places and why do we have to 
split up.Buffy said one of them is the Shaolin temple in Chinatown 
me,you,Cordelia,and Willow should be safe there.Cordelia said why 
cant Angel go there with us.Angel said Shaolin priests have this 
thing about killing demon vamps on sight and i doubt that they would 
give anyone a chance to explain that i have a soul and am working for 
my redemption.Faith said Buffy where do you think Angel would be 
safe.Buffy said he should be pretty safe with Detective Knight 
because i doubt that anyone would want to mess with a cop especially 
one who is Lacroix's son.

Angel looked at Buffy and he said you think that this was the work 
of a vampire.Buffy said yes i most certainly do.Cordelia said why do 
you think this is the work of a vampire.Buffy said because all four 
of our rooms were hit and who besides the vampires know we are here 
together.Willow said what Buffy says makes sense especially since our 
rooms are spread out on this floor and not together.Angel said if it 
is the work of a vampire we should contact Xena and the others and 
let them handle the matter since we are just guests.Willow said Angel 
let me see the note that was left and he handed it to her.Buffy said 
i agree that we should contact them but i want to be there when they 
confront the ones who did this because i want me and Willow's swords 
back.Faith said they took your swords and Buffy said yes they did as 
well as our guns and coats.Cordelia said that means the only weapons 
we have is my whiplash and Faith's case of knives and sword.Buffy 
said well we have some Barrabonds so we can easily reequip ourselves.
Willow said uh guys i am not sure that this note is a threat.They all 
looked at Willow and Cordelia said of course its a threat what else 
could it be.Willow said it could be a warning and our weapons could 
have been taken just to drive it to heart.Buffy walked up to Willow 
and she read the note.Buffy said she is right with the way it was 
worded it could be a warning.Faith said a warning for what.Cordelia 
said uh guys i just had an idea and its not one i really like.Buffy 
said what is it.Cordelia said we are all supposed to meet with the 
counil of elders soon what if the message is a warning that something 
is going to happen to us at the meeting.Faith said if thats true we 
really cant risk getting help from any of the vampires up here.Angel 
said we will have to take this into our own hands.Willow said we need 
to get our hands on some equipment tonight and then get what was 
taken from us.Angel said Faith you and Cordelia go pack up your stuff 
because we dont need to be coming back here.Buffy said Angel give me 
the phone number for our contact i will call him while you pack.Angel 
pulled out his wallet and he took the piece of paper that had the 
phone number and name smead written on it out of his wallet.Buffy 
took the piece of paper and then she pulled out her celullar phone.

About a minute later across town a phone was picked up and a sleepy 
voice said hello.Buffy said smead this is a lass from down south we 
did bussiness recently.The man said i recognize your voice but why 
are you calling me at this time of night.Buffy said earlier this 
evening our rooms were hit by a thief or two and some personal items 
very valuable to us were taken as well as some working equipment.The 
guy said i take it that they werent cops or other legal 
authorities.Buffy said no if that was the case we would just go to a 
police station or whatever office they worked out of and demand that 
the items be returned to us immedietly.The man said what do you 
need.Buffy thought a moment and then she said 10 fully automatic subs,
a fully equipped snipe,5 9mm,several jackhammers and bullpups,5 
vision and gas combos,5 coats like we had at our face to face 
meeting.The man said what about loads do you need any.Buffy thought a 
second and after realizing what he meant she said yes we do.The man 
said what type do you want.Buffy said api for most of them and 
dragons for the jacks and bulls.The man said anything else.Buffy said 
yes an assortment of flashbang,he,and phosporous.The man said how 
soon do you want it and Buffy said in about an hour if you can 
arrange it because we want our items back tonight.The man said i will 
have to charge extra for such a sudden unexpected delivery.Buffy 
looked at Willow and said he says he has to charge extra because of 
it being so soon.Willow said thats fine and Buffy told the man that 
he had a deal.The man said are you still staying at the motel you 
were and Buffy said yes we are.The man said ok when you leave the 
motel go about two miles east and you will come upon a drive in 
theatre that is where the transfer will be made and it will happen in 
exactly an hour from now.
