Well, the mystery has been solved. The shooting script is now up.

__ JUST THEN THE DOOR IS THROWN OPEN and Xander stands there. A 
hero, backlit by the sudden sunshine! He runs towards Anya, Willow 
right behind him.


The "rescue" was supposed to be later, but apparently they smooshed 
some things. In the smooshing they maintained Xander's heroism and 
Willow's rescuing, but sacrificed Willow's ability to follow-thru. ;-P
