The shooting script also shows that there was a mention of Giles. Apparently 
Anya and Xander couldn't afford flowers, and Giles sent them. Willow and 
Dawn explain how he couldn't be there because he was busy fighting a certain 
demon. Of course the entire Willow/Dawn scene was omitted. It also 
explained how that veil ended up on the stuffed bison. Willow put it there to 
cover it up LOL
