VR5 was a lame, shortlived series about secret agents and virtual reality. 
On the Fox Network. Oliver Sampson was a senior VR agent, who was played by 
Anthony Stewart Head. 

Actually, my favorite ASH role outside of Buffy was on a British detective 
series called Jonathan Creek. Alan Davies plays a designer of stage 
illusions, who uses his knowledge of deception to solve seemingly unsolvable 
crimes. In the pilot, ASH played Adam Klause, an arrogant, womanizing, 
American stage magician that Jonathan worked for. I think he shot this just 
before being signed to play Giles on BtVS, so they replaced him with someone 
else. Even without ASH, it's a fun show. If you have BBC America on cable, 
they air it sometimes. It also runs on some public television stations.
