Re: OT-What Nicholas Brendon said Sunday-my comments
So about Nick's actual remarks, that Joss had told him he didn't see the
series going past Season 7 as being likely because of "Firefly" and
other projects, a few personal thoughts.
I'm even more disappointed in this year if they're really going to end
it next year.
What happened to "I've got another hundred stories I want to tell",
Joss?
Who needs you, anyway? One "Buffy" ep, one "Angel" ep--that's easy to
replace. You're practically gone to "Firefly", anyhow, so what do you
care if "Buffy" keeps on or not? (I may not like this year, but the
show doesn't lack for long-time writers in key positions ready to step
in)
Not every show's a hit. I bet Chris Carter's glad he didn't shut down
"The X-Files" to do "Harsh Realm". (Whether disappointed X-Files fans
wish he had is another issue.)
It's not fair! Just when I get really, really, really into the show, it
turns bad and dies. (Hey, I didn't say they were all mature responses.)
I hope "Firefly" tanks. (See above.)
Dan
Bitter, and still clinging to denial.
