Heh, me too. At least I tried. I started watching too early and had
to sit thru that interminable "kitchen scene". I finally had a mini-
breakdown and, I kid you not, during Tara's speech covered my ears and
said, "lalalalalalala!" Gods, that scene is painful.

HA! I responded just to comment on this. I'm so glad you noticed that
too, Dan. I'm looking at that scrunchy!blouse and that hear-comes-the-
sun broach and thinking, "Willow, honey, 'self-definition': look into
it!" Willow in hip-huggers and those wide belts, OTOH: Yum!
I've gotta think Wardrobe is doing the Tara-present vs Tara-absent
style thing on purpose, but it's unclear to me what point they're
trying to make. And they haven't always done this. Remember the
circle-11 t-shirt from Bargaining?

So you think it's an argument against because she covered Dawn's eyes
first? hmm...I interpreted her actions as looking out for the welfare
of the insert-label-for-unconventional-family-relation minor first,
then check to see how Xander's holding up. She looked rather worried
about Xander.

OTOH, if as you alluded to below [snipped], Willow does her patience
thing, then she wouldn't run off anyway.

hmmm, my recollection was that they ALL freaked somewhat, each
according to her/his own personality/style of expression. Even Anya
was bemused. And I don't know that seeing Spike with what turned out
to be the Buffybot would inure them to the horror.
I'm just glad that it looks like we're staying on the fast track.
After the sweet classicness of NA, I've been worried that I'd be let
down again. (oh gods, i just reminded myself of who penned the script.
nevertheless, i will remain optimistic.)
