Ok, well honestly I didn't love the episode but it certainly wasn't one of
the worst of the season. It was basically one of those couples episodes.
Not so much supernatural stuff going on, just a set up in the teaser for next
week with the nerds I imagine.
The part where Spike just magically appears on the cemetary wall, thinking
that Buffy will tell her friends about their tryst just because he offers to
stake a vamp. Well it was pretty pathetic. But I was a little proud of
Buffy for not looking even a little bit tempted. The only thing I saw was
annoyance that he's still on the same old riff.
That brings me to another point. Not once did I get the feeling that she was
fighting her feelings for him in this episode. For the longest time they
made it seem as though Buffy was fighting so hard not to let herself love
him. To me it now seems as though she's realized that she really doesn't
love him (Thank God!) she does care about his feelings, but she knows it's
over. She didn't seem tempted to me in that scene in his crypt at all, she
actually seemed at peace with the situation I thought.
Now of course she did get upset when she saw the Spike/Anya sex capades. I
don't know exactly what to think of that. But I guess it would hurt if
someone who you believes does care about you, loves you, can apparently move
on that quickly. It must smart I would think.
Speaking of the S/A sex. I honestly was really enjoying it. I think James
and Emma have really good chemistry and I really didn't fault either of them
for what happened. Xander was being a holier than thou ass. He leaves Anya
at the altar, he takes off and no one knows where to find them. Then he says
he still loves her, but he's not ready to be married. Ok, that's fine. But
he really put his foot in his mouth during the conversation. I pitied poor
Anya really. She was jilted, she was hurt, and Xander's bumbling attempts
only made it worse. So she drunkenly turned to Spike, the person who
arguably can understand where she is coming from. Anya and Xander are broken
up, Buffy dumped Spike a few eps back, they had consensual sex. Yeah it
might not have been the best idea. But honestly I think Anya's right, Xander
is no one to judge.
And that brings me to Spike's little slip up. He knew damn well what he was
doing when he blurted it out. He was hitting Xander and Buffy below the
belt. Buffy looked mightily pissed with him.
So that brings me to Willow and Tara. To tell you the truth, I actually
thought the last scene was sorta cute. Of course those smoochages, whew,
that never would have gotten by on WB. It did give me a much more graphic
visual reference that's for sure LOL
Shipper wise it pretty much sucked. Our girls didn't have a single scene
together. :( But it was nice how Willow picked up on Buffy's reaction to the
Spanya sex. She knows her Slayer, and I'd bet anything she knows something
is up.
As for the promo, I'm gonna put spoiler space because I'm going to talk about
what I know about 'Seeing Red'. The wildfeed that was supposed to go out for
tonight's episode Monday morning got screwed up. 'Seeing Red' got sent
instead. So most of the spoiler community knows what happens, scene for
scene next week.
If you don't want to be spoiled for next weeks ep, stop right here!

Well like I said, I saw most of 'Seeing Red', I downloaded some of the clips.
And to me it seems that promo is mis leading. It said that 'you heard the
rumors', 'you thought you knew', 'everything you heard is wrong'. Well Tara
gets shot at the end of 'Seeing Red', right through the heart. And the only
big rumor that I've heard is the Tara one. So it's really making me wonder
what the fig is going on. I have to wonder if ME is doing damage control
because so much stuff got out and they're losing the W/T fanbase because of
it. But combine that with the screwed up wildfeed something just isn't
adding up. It's all giving me a big headache LOL

after a shift at the Doublemeat."
Willow:"Plus, I'd visit you at work every single day."
