I have had enough!

There is the off chance that some might find this response offensive. 

I'll spend some time after this post trying to remember if I care.

_We_ like the aspect of Tara/Willow and the possibility of Buffy/Willow. Some
lean toward Faith/Buffy or Whoever/Whoever. (And I'm as open minded as they
come but those Riley/Spike shippers freak me out.)

But this totally ridiculious idea that the Evil Willow, Dead Tara is any kind
of message about the inherant evils of homesexuals than in that case I highly
recommend you start playing your Iron Maided records backwards for satanic
messages. (Hell, if you play a Beach Boys records backwards you'll get the
sound 'DaaaDDDEEBBBILLLISSSTTAAASTTRRAAWWBBRRR' which some priests though was
'The Devil is My Strawberry' but I digress.)

One of the primary pillars of BtVS was the idea that life is life, good and
bad. Now, I agree that the level of 'Shit Happens' that last two seasons has
been WAY too heavy handed. 

I also totally agree that watching what happens to Willow, Tara and the rest
is ...well...being in Hungary I'm not SEEING it but the KNOWLEDGE of it is
still twisting my guts into new and exciting shapes.

For God's sake people, the majority of female victims eaten by vampires in the
series have been brunnettes, does that mean Joss says brown haired people are
natural snack foods? If so, I have to hide!

These are the Storytellers, Joss, Marti, Fury etc..etc...

I cannot concieve of them writing something so good as BtVS and then having
everything go all swirly without some damn good reason other than honking
people off. 

But I'm not advocating following them blindly. 

You know what I noticed? I was going over old fanfiction and noting all the
disclaimers reading such as 'Joss is the Almight God, His Hammer smotes down
the blah blah blah...Marti sits at the right hand of Joss, I am insignifigant
speck yaddity yaddity...'

Now all the Spoiler spaces and the like read 'Burn in Hellfire Joss' and
'Smack that Marti Bitch Up'.

I mean COME ON people.

Right now it seems the emotions are the primary motivation of a lot of the
posts these days. That's what StoryTellers want, they want emotions so their
stories have IMPACT!(Hell, that was one of the primary reasons behind my Eros,
just to hurt. I was giggling like a fiend the entire time.) BUT...the amount
of forethought going into these posts is tragically, TRAGICALLY low.

We _ARE_ storytellers, we are not JUST the Audiance. THINK the story, PREDICT
the story and, if you must, ALTER it but do not blame it or look for 'hidden
messages'. 

That's what you do if you want to impede the Story, a crime worthy of deathin
my book.

The Story _is_. 

Discuss it, savor it, dread it, whatever but don't blame the damn things for
aspects which are totally ...and I mean this from the bottom of my
heart...idiotic.(Cause, if things go as they are in the last season, and there
is no real 'reason' than, yeah, Joss has lost his mind.)
