Hunter,

Fine, fine start. I love all of the changes you've made. Well, except
perhaps for removing BuffyBot, which is the element that worked the
least well from a TV standpoint (confused new viewers, seemed like just
an excuse to have Sarah appear in part 1), but was rooted in some
character truth--I could see them clinging to the simulacrum--and
served a plot purpose, via her impersonation of Buffy.

But I applaud your decision to show the gang's grief (of course we got
to see Spike's grief, because Spike's just so lovable....grumble,
grumble) and the more believable interactions with Spike, where they
accept his help but don't fully trust him, and rag him en masse about
the eternal chip-related complaints. Droll.

And bonus points for actually putting some "bargaining" in "Bargaining"!

My only real complaint is the appearance of the Monster. You know, that
thing that creeps into fics periodically, and drives me up the wall.
It's not just you, but it's your turn to suffer, so here I go (again):

Willow is NOT "Wills", dammit! Nobody calls her that! Not ONCE, NEVER
in the whole history of the show! It's a British habit started by
British fic writers, and should never appear in the mouths of American
characters.  

And, as I understand it, the English tradition of shortening names and
adding an "s" applies to SURNAMES, not first names, anyway. If you want
to have Spike, being English, call her "Roses" or call Buffy "Sums" or
call Tara "Macs", that would be in character. To have Tara call her
"Wills"...grr! Arrgh! Hatehatehate that!

Okay, pardon the venting. People keep doing it, and I keep getting
pissed off. Rest of the fic was damn good.
