OT; AMC Special on the making of Buffy

Hey, gang, just thought I'd send you a little note. I just stumbled onto the 
cable channel AMC(American Movie Classics), and they're showing an episode of 
their series 'Backstory'. The show discusses the making of various movies, 
and the episode they're showing right now covers the making of the movie 
'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'. Here's a scary notion; Allysa Milano had wanted 
to play the part of Buffy. Alicia Silverstone and Drew Barrymore were also 
considered briefly.

And didja know that Hillary Swank played a cheerleader? Ben Affleck was a 
basketball player? And David Arquette played one of Pike's buddies who got 
turned! And I think Seth Green had a small part in it also.

Hmm...Howcum Paul Reubens got to do this wierd-ass death scene, while in the 
series, the moment the stake hits the heart, the vamp is dust!

Check AMC to see if they rerun it soon. They might.
