emmy nominations

Ok...the net is all aflutter with the distribution of the 'Once more, with Feeling' DVDs to Variety subscribers. That got me thinking. What is eligible for the Emmy's?? Would SMG's acting for 'The Body' be eligible, or is that last year?? Does the September cut off mean that anything after September in 2001 is eligble for an Emmy nom?? When are the Emmy's/?? Why do I ask so many questions?? 

What ep from season 6 would even give SMG a shot at a best acting award?? Could AH be eligible for her acting during the last 3 eps of the season?? Hec, her performance in 'Bargaining' is worthwhile too. As much as I love SMG, I think AH did a better acting job this season. As those types of awards go though...SMG could get a nod for never getting a nod before...even though her acting was incredible during 'The Body' last year. I guess SMG wasn't bad in the finale during her verbal war with Willow just before Giles shows up. I don't know though. She was awfully cute when she was stuck in that endless loop in the Magic Box during 'Life Serial'. I give her points for the mummy hand! (oops that pesky exclamation point wears its 'head' again)

Thoughts?? Besting acting if any during season 6 for SMG and AH???
