Well Sarah wouldn't be eligible for her work in 'The Body', since it was 
after the cut off date. That's why it really sucked that she wasn't 
nominated last year, that was arguably her best performance.

As for this year's nominations, anything of Season 6 is eligible. The 
ballots are going out to voters next week I believe and the nominations are 
going to be announced July 18th. With the telecast being somewhere around 
mid September.

And I agree, I think Aly did a fantastic job all season long. "Bargaining", 
"Wrecked", "Villians" and the season finale just to knock off the top of my 
head. But Sarah and her wouldn't be competing for the same nomination I 
don't think. As far as I know Aly would only be eligible in the Supporting 
Actress category, not lead like Sarah.

And even if the show doesn't get a nomination itself, "Once More With 
Feeling" could get one by itself for a single episode. Much like "Hush" did 
back in 2000.

And with The Soprano's not eligible this year because their season finale was 
pushed back until September, it's leaving the Drama field more open than it 
has been in a couple of years. Including two acting slots, at least. :)
