And while we're on that subject, why did Snyder seem to be in on the Mayor's 
scam in season two(the first thing he did after expelling Buffy in 'Becoming 
2' was to call the mayor, saying, "I have good news"), to being taken out of 
the loop in Season three? I was convinced that Snyder was going to be a 
significant threat in Season three, but he turned into a comic foil.

Although Season three did have my favorite Snyder scene; when Joyce told him, 
"I think what my daughter is trying to say is...Nyah, nyah nah Nyah Nyah!" in 
"Faith Hope and Trick"
