Mike, that was a nice link, but it was a day camp. I believe what
Kristjan is looking for is more like the traditional 8-week sleepaway
camp in the mountains.

I did a Google-search using the words "summer camps" and "California"
for a place like those where the BtVS characters might have gone. 

This is a link (at the bottom of the page) to the first result that
seemed appropriate. I think this is somewhat archetypical.
