OK, so here is what I read at the TV guide site under Entertainment 
news, it's
just a brief mention and I don't know where they get their 
information and even
if it's true or not, but here it is:

'Buffy The Vampire Slayer's Amber Benson, whose alter ego Tara was 
killed off
last season - will return in the fall for several episodes. Benson 
will most
likely be playing a new character.'
