Well I wouldn't say incurable :P Actually, I'm just keeping the options open 
you might say. While I really don't think the chance of them actually 
pairing Buffy and Willow off are in favor of us, I don't think they're nill 
either. Especially, like someone said, if this is the last season, they 
might just go for the gusto, not really caring what the ramifications are 
from it. At least from non Buffy/Willow enlightened fans. So I'm not 
dashing all the hopes I have, but I'm certainly not waiting with bated breath 
either.

As for Willow/Anya, I could actually see that a bit. Aly and Emma could make 
it work like you said, they have a rather natural chemistry together. That 
is of course when we actually get to see them interact with each other. 
Which hasn't been all that often unfortunately. But Joss did say he was 
going to put Emma more into the middle of everything, and that certainly 
would draw attention to her, that's for sure.

But what I'm really starting to lean towards with this new love interest for 
Willow, and the almost assurance that Amber Benson will be back in some other 
incarnation that ISN'T Tara, is that whoever the character is, AB will be 
playing her. It's sort of pacify the Kittens a bit, keep Willow gay, keep 
Amber around, yada yada yada. Although they're completely skimming over the 
utter cheese factor that'll go along with it.
