How to make/send vids

This seems to be a pretty popular topic, but I don't want to flood 
the list with everything so I'll just make this announcement.

Anyone wishing to know how to use FTP programs, set up sites/servers 
to display their videos, send videos using AIM and other devices, 
uploading videos to MegaWitches, or even in how to make the videos, 
please email me privately offlist. I'll try to help you as much as 
possible.

I only ask one thing. I tend to get a lot of emails so please try to 
tell me as much information as you can in your email. Let me know 
what program (including the version) you're using. What problems you 
have. If you're having problems getting your videos seen I'll 
announce right now how to get them on MegaWitches.

There is an upload folder in which you can load any music videos or 
other media you want to share. If you want it linked on MegaWitches 
or just want me to hold it for you and give you a link for you to put 
on your site that's fine. Here's how:

Use any FTP program you want - if you need a program I can email you 
a copy of WS_FTP LE with instructions on how to set it up.
Open the FTP program.
Click New
Enter any name/title you want.
Host name/address: 24.184.188.136
Username: Upload2 (Capital U needed)
Password: wtfan (all lowercase)
Click okay then connect

Simply locate the files on your computer (on the left side of FTP 
usually - click the arrow on the top of that screen in FTP to get to 
your folders) and just transfer it over (double click the file on 
your side and it'll begin transferring). I strongly advise not to 
download any files you find in there as they have been uploaded by 
others and have not been checked with a virus scan yet.

As I find new files in there I will virus scan them and place them in 
a new location and will email you a link you can use for your site or 
emails so people can DL the files without encountering any bandwidth 
exceeded errors and such. When uploading files either send an email 
with the exact file name and the details (song name, artist, your 
name, email addy - if you want it posted on the site). Please let me 
know specifically if you don't want it posted on MegaWitches.

For those who want to know about programs to make vids and how to use 
them, I recommend first checking to see if there's a help file or a 
tutorial. Give it a quick read through and try some hands on playing 
with files. Don't be afraid to mess things up. You can always scrap 
the video and start again. If you're still stuck, email and I'd be 
more than happy to try to walk you through different steps.

I know someone asked about this earlier. AIM is AOL Instant 
Messenger. It's a free IMing program (www.aol.com) that allows users 
to transfer files, share pictures, and chat in real time with one 
another. If you want to send me files and don't have or don't want 
to use FTP this is the best way to get files to me.

Since yahoo likes to not display email addresses correctly, mine is 
AmberBensonFan - @ - hotmail - . - com.

I hope this helps anyone who is stuck or wants to share. And please -
share share share your vids. There are almost no B/W ones out there 
and the subtext in this 'ship is too hard to ignore and would really 
come out beautifully in music videos.
