Red Willow, you never cease to amaze and please me with your work. This
was poignant and powerful. I was overwhelmed by the pain and sorrow
between the characters, yet it was done with a flavor of realism that so
many angsterrific stories lack. I found the device of flashbacks with
extensions to canon scenes to be delightful, and they added to the feel
of 'realism' in this story; as if it wouldn't be at all out of place as
a beginning to season seven- though we, of course, know that Martijoss
will never allow such a perfect relationship to flourish.
Well done, and done very well.

Willow: Oh Buffy, you really need to have every square inch of your ass
kicked.
Buffy: Then show me what you got, and I'll show you what a Slayer really is.
Who the hell am *i* to capitalize myself?
