Re: OT: converting multiregion DVDs



A mate of mine has a PS2 and has had the conversion done - he seems 
very happy with it. He already had the PS2 and wanted a DVD player 
(muliti-regional or not) and this was the cheapest option for him. 

There's only one DVD I'm aware of that won't play on his PS2, and 
that's my copy of The Emperor's New Groove. It's a bit dodgy anyway, 
though - a region 4 DVD that won't play on any region 4 DVD player, 
or on some multizones...I took it back to where I bought it and 
swapped it for another copy, but the same thing happened...just a 
dodgy release, I think.
