Feedback aplenty...and other insanity...

Well, it's been a long, hectic, nerve-wracking week.

I was paid a visit by reality this week. Apparently I haven't been spending enough time there, so it decided to come and slap me in the face with a few issues. Lost my mind for a while there, but I'm pretty sure I've found most of it now. ;)

And there were a few high points - the most amusing was teasing my best friend relentlessly about not being able to orgasm for a week after she had minor surgery for a hernia...hee hee...the oddest being my youngest cat getting high from the chemicals in the spray I use to clean my shower. I didn'tmind him racing round the house like a mad thing til 3am so much as I minded him climbing the lounge and pouncing on my head when I locked him out ofthe bathroom...

Anyway, have spent most of last night and this evening catching up on some much-missed fic from various sources, and I'm pretty much back in my happy place now. We're all fine here, thank you.

So - feedback:

Greywolf - Cris de Cour - enjoyed this very much. Don't see enough B/W/X fics, so I'm glad to hear there's a sequel on the way.

The Bear! - Triskelion 2 & 3 - O Keeper of my Sanity, thou art wise and true. Ooh, I'm lovin' this! Willow's complete submission to Buffy is awesome. Love the public displays of dominance, and love the more mature Xander. More, please!

Ida - Innermost Truth - if you could pass feedback on to Belle_Joy, that'd be great. I'm positive I've read the first couple of parts this posted on another site - enjoyed it just as much this time round, especially with theadditional chapter. Can't wait to read the final part.  

Red Willow - Dispelling the Darkness - absolutely loved this story. Loved the subtle manipulation of canon and additional scenes during the flashback, and the ending was sensational. Awesome work, as always. :)

Bynx - Under The Willow Tree - for someone trying out their hand this is a sensational effort!! And if B/W are your favourite pairing, please write more fics featuring them?

Will - Aspects of Buffy - oh yeah, liking this a lot. Tough challenge, andthe first two parts are cruising along nicely. Loved Willow's ever so calm reaction to discovering Buffy's "aspect". Can't wait for more.

Jen - Learning to Live - Haven't got through all the chapters yet, but I'vevery much enjoyed what I've read so far. Keep it up!!

Stefan, Bear, RW - Round Robin chapters 4/5/6 - This was an awesome idea. Caught the first 3 chapters on Jude's MW list, then these 3 here today, andI am really enjoying it so far. I liked seeing Will spit the dummy with Buffy, but I like her openness with Cordy, too - being honest with herself about what she's done. I'm a little concerned about Tara, though - can't wait to see what she'll do to get Will back...and how she and Buff will interact now that Buffy seems to be realising her feelings for Willow. Fantastic stuff - seems to be headed towards epic proportions, which is just fine by me...

Wow. Didn't realise I'd got through that many fics since last night. Oh, well. It's all good. Feeding authors plenty of feedback leads to authors producing plenty of fic - and this all makes for a happy mudrat.

And lastly, in an overwhelmingly OT display of shameless nepotism, I just wanted to throw in a plug for my brother's site. And Kevs is a Buffy freak (OK, so she likes Spike - but she still drools over Aly, so I'm willing to forgive her), which might make thisbit ever so marginally less OT and not get me a smack on the wrist...
