FIC: Learning to live pt 16b

Spoilers: Season 6 maybe others somewhere down the road
Summery: Giles brings someone in to help after everything happens in 
season 6. Sorry I suck at this part.
Author notes: I have never written anything before this, so please 
tell me what you think



The gang sat around the bon fire roasting marshmallows, and 
talking. Xander was telling Sara about some of Willows less then 
stellar moments. Sara noticing Willow getting embarrassed decided to 
switch topics, "So did Giles ever tell you about the time he got 
drunk and mooned the entire council at a dinner party"?
"No way, G-man", Xander asked.
"Bloody hell, do not call me G-man and yes I did but I think Miss 
Sara is forgetting a part of the story", Giles stammered.
"I was getting to it, Old man", Sara said and continued, " Ok, I was 
there to. We had been back in England for a while and the council was 
still not very pleased with me, or Giles for not telling them I was 
alive and for defending me. So they had been giving us hell the whole 
time. The last straw was demanding that we show up at this party. So 
Giles and I decided to have a little contest".
"What kind of contest", Dawn asked?
"Well they had an open bar that night and Giles and I took full 
advantage of it. We were trying to out drink each other. To this day 
I have no idea how much we drank. I dared Giles to moon everyone. I 
never thought he would actually do it but the next thing I know he is 
standing the middle of the room with his pants down, bent over?" Sara 
had to stop because she was laughing so hard.
"Well while I had the room distracted, somehow Sara convinced the 
band to play striptease music and was up on the table dancing. She 
jumps down and walks over to Travers wife and kisses her. I don't 
mean a peck on the cheek either. A full fledge on the mouth kiss. I 
thought Travers was going to explode", Giles was laughing now, the 
rest were sitting there stunned at the thought of the stuffing 
watcher mooning someone and Sara kissing Travers wife.
"He was ready to remove both of us that night but his wife threatened 
to divorce him if he did"; Sara said and grabbed her side as another 
round of giggles hit her.
"Oh my god, Giles", Buffy squeaked.
"You know Giles she showed up at my door that night", Sara asked 
Giles?
"Heavens no what did you do", Giles said.
"What the hell do you think I did? She was hot, how an old fart like 
him got a wife like that, I have no idea". That was all the rest 
could take before they were all rolling on the ground laughing.
"Why Giles I never knew you had it in you", Buffy finally said after 
regaining some control of herself.
"Yes well there are a lot of thing you don't know young lady", Giles 
answered, "and never will, right Sara". That brought everyone back to 
laughing.
"Willow would you like to go for a walk", Sara asked taking Willow 
hand into hers. 
"I think a walk would be very nice. If you all will excuse us".


Willow and Sara walked down the beach until they could barely see the 
fire and their friends. 
" You have no intentions on letting Xander and Anya's wedding be 
simple and small do you", Willow asked and sat down in the sand.
"Small yes, simple no. I think you only get married once and you 
ought to have the best. Besides the last one didn't sound like it 
turned out to well".
"No between the Demons and the fighting and that was the guests. We 
won't even talk about the guy who showed up wanting revenge on Anya, 
causing Xander to bolt. No it wasn't pretty".
"Well then let me do this, please", Sara said and put on her puppy 
dog eyes.
"Ok, you win. You look just like Jen when she does the sad eyes".
"Where do you think she got it from", Sara asked and lied back on the 
beach.
"I love you, Doc," Willow whispered into Sara ear. Sara pulled Willow 
on top of her, "I love you too, Willow". Willow started to kiss Sara 
neck. Sara ran her hands up Willow back under her shirt, reveling at 
how smooth and warm her skin felt. Willow rolled off of Sara, " I 
can't believe how good it feels to be in your arms. I never thought I 
would find anyone again I could love".
"I know and I have been at it a lot longer then you have", Sara said 
and pulled Willow to her feet, "Come on it's getting late. We ought 
to be heading to bed."
"Ok, but I am lodging a formal complaint against it. I was way to 
comfortable here".
"Duly noted, now come on". Willow and Sara held hands and walked back 
to the house. When they got back they found the group sitting in 
front of the TV, watching a movie. 
"So guys care to join the movie fest. We found all of the Alien 
movies", Buffy said.
"Buff, don't you think you see enough gore every night and no I think 
we are both tired and are going to go to bed", Willow told her best 
friend.
"Ok Will, good night, love you", Buffy said.
"Love you too"

Sara walked Willow to her room to say good night. "Sara stay with me 
tonight".
"Willow are you sure", Sara asked.
Willow pulled Sara into her room. She kissed Sara, "I haven't been 
this sure in a long time", and then shut the door.
